by loading the BIOS and click over BIOS-SHA256 on the bottom:

Aside from this you can check AGESA version,
and / or let the tool prepare the USB key for flashing either by the tool by booting from USB key or by M-Flash.
While doing USB key preparation it will ensure the BIOS integrity on the USB key both checksum and SHA256.

You can lower the voltage of cards for the desired clock speed but the cards will only do clock speed at 1.1 voltage that is Max and the end of the day I clock speed is going to be around 3200 and 1.1 voltage under clicking will still be give you 3200 but with less voltage. Witch again will make very little difference in the big picture. Again about 10 fps in games.been overlooking for years now I am 50 now and I started when I was 16. I speed a lot of money on this stuff .and overclock is nothing like it was before when you buy hardware today it is so Max out .and then nvidia locks stuff down I remember time when ovocking could give you 50 present overclock and sometimes even more. Oh boy, I am 55 my first „PC” was Zx Spectrum in 1984 year. I am talking about tweaking stuff, not always it must be overclock for more performance. And remember perfectly CPUs like Celeron 300A ;)
 
Resumed my PC from sleep today and got the PCIE2.0 stuck/GPU crash/lockup, first time in a while. Rebooted fine. Guess it'll be time to try A52 over the weekend.
 
Just curious as I never had this problem, what causes it?

In my case was overvoltage.

I have two 6400 memory modules, and when I enable XMPP the BIOS rises the SoC voltage to 1.3v which seems to completelly mess up the PCIe signals and drives the GPU crazy. I reduced the voltage to 1.25v and all has been running smoothly for months now.
 
U can change it but 6000 6400 will be 1.3 that is default. When you run 1/2 you can run lower soc vottage.like 8000 mem
It might be the default but it completelly messes up my 5080 (which coincidentally is also an MSI...), 30/40% of the times I rebooted it got stuck to PCIe 2x or 1x and was completelly unusable, tried every workaround and except going back to an older BIOS (1A21 or older) is the only thing that fixes it, so possibly there is something really messed up in the SoC voltage control since then and reducing the voltage avoids the problem. At least the PC is 100% stable under high loads so...
 
That 1.3 is the ram xmp setting not the board. All 6000 and 6400 is 1.3 will all that I see it is. I have a Asus 5090 I don't see any problem. When I run 8000 I use 1.125 that my 6000 kit is 1.3 xmp.

This actually makes sense. To get my memory settings stable in A51 I needed to up my SoC voltage from 1.2 to 1.27 (where I had it before A44). Maybe I'll try pulling back the voltage a little bit and test where it's stable and see if this goes away again. It just happened the once in over a week. Can you post which 6400 modules you have? Mine are also 6400 so was wondering what timings you were able to get stable under SoC 1.25v... I tried 1.22 and that wasn't enough for stability, so just jumped straight to my "older" value of 1.27v.
 
Went from 50 > 52, working great so far.
And, while for me it was good, not sure if bugged or feature?
Fan settings stayed from previous version, which is real nice since that takes a while with the amount of different setups I have on them.
Still wish we could import from previous version.
 
I have pbo with 200 with -30 you can look @SkatterBencher on YouTube he has some good video how to overclock and undervote..remember carbon don't have the other clock generator. It only has one one so skip that part of the video if you want.

What is that huge cpu core voltage offset -0,15v do you think is doing when running in vain on such powerfull great 16cores xD cpu 🤕
Even if is -0,015v your approach cpu settings are wrong, especially when not all 99xD cpu's can boost +200 & CO-30All, you need to test it first with his own default PBO Auto setup & limits, manually after ... your 9950xD cpu TDP 170W AMD fabric PPT/TDC/EDC 230/160/225 is plenty enough to boost CCD0 Vcache clocks to 5,550 & CCD1 non-cache speeds to 5,750mhz alone PBO Auto Clocks Boost Override OFF

In comparison, my 12cores 99xD cpu goes TDP 120W PPT/TDC/EDC 162/120/180 from fabric with -200mhz cores boost clocks gap for CCD0 5,350 & CCD1 speeds to 5,550mhz

I saw also you already touch PBO Limits manually by PPT/TDC/EDC goes 1000, why, like this you will never see your real acting cpu sample potential near PPT 100% wattage which is best lemon juice you can have top performance without added Boost override +200, these 99xD's are maximized from fabric, out from the box, no needs OCeing, but this is another discussion for later.
So, long story short version, please take a look in comparison at your 9950xD screen results with Boost +200 CO-30All cpu Offset voltage PBO manually Limits and my replicated your Aida test results for my 99xD PBO Auto CO-perCore Boost+25 only, edited picture for you, no ofense 🙏

As you can see, your Core clocks Current & Effective boost are far way from mine's at boost +25 setup only, they should be 5,800mhz at least, to match your max. clocks speeds for boost +200mhz at 100% cpu usage in Aida stress test.
I suspect your 4,70 mhz cores clocks indicates a huge stretching and underclocked gap of 1,000mhz Effective speed, due to wrong Cpu setup, too deep CO value, PBO Limits wattage or Core Offset voltage included, which hurts performance running with much hardish handbrake taken 👎
Here's cores clocks on my other Profile Boost+150 PBO Limits manually 225/125/205 CO-20ALL how it looks like :wave:

Thank you for your advice. For me, the most important thing is that the CPU runs cool. With the new BIOS, it works at 80 degrees or less even under load, which is really good — previously it was reaching 85-90 degrees.
I will make more comprehensive settings and tests and share the results. These were just quick adjustments to the Curve Optimizer. :wave:

Hi Dan, I'm trying to understand exactly what you're saying here. You're saying that you set your maximum PBO limits to "auto" and boost clock to +25Mhz and get higher effective core frequencies, than with running manually set to 225/125/205 (or motherboard limits) +150Mhz at -20 CO? Or do I have that reversed?

Oh well, not about my best two Profile in comparison I was talking about.
It was all about comparing 170W TDP 16cores xD cpu 5,5-5,7 cores clocks AMD fabric per CCD, PBO setup boost +200 CO-30 Allcores, which can't even match my lower tier 12cores 9900xD 120W TDP cpu 5,3-5,5 clocks fabric, PBO Auto boost+25 CO-perCores, due to wrong Cpu settings & stuff.
Here, same testing Aida load scenario, should have boosting higher Current & Effectives core clocks for 9950xD close to maximum 5,9mhz for +200 boost, that's cpu clocks underclocking itself by hard throttling

As for second best my Profile, that's another story, running boost+150 only, looks fine with PBO 225/125/205 manually limits, 5,5-5,7 clocks per CCD's are already matching 9950xD fabrics, +200 boost was too much underclocking clocks & throttling cores
Long story short version, you need first to find your cpu limits, settings & stuff, you can find your sample sweetspot later, placebo setups like PBO MB scalar 10x boost +200 CO-30ALL most in common set & forget Profiles are not working most cases, cause the more different IMC cpu's, mobo, mems & combo parts they are, the more diff. results may occur by cpu silicon lottery if U lucky
