With >>Forum UEFI Shell Flash Tool<< you can copy the hash of the BIOS file quickly for checking,
by loading the BIOS and click over BIOS-SHA256 on the bottom:

then in this topic do press CTRL+F to paste it to check if will match it.

Aside from this you can check AGESA version,
and / or let the tool prepare the USB key for flashing either by the tool by booting from USB key or by M-Flash.
While doing USB key preparation it will ensure the BIOS integrity on the USB key both checksum and SHA256.

One step forward one step BACK from AGESA E to AGESA F now back to E with some FW UPDATE, why not building the FW update on latest AGESA F? MSI never stops to impress with their BIOS revisions and decisions

I’m having two issues. First one, the RAM performance is inconsistent ,it changes from one restart to another.
Second, the fan curve isn’t smooth at all. I’ve experienced this issue on both the X870E Tomahawk and Carbon, I don't know if anyone have the same issue .

These two issues still need optimization, using the BIOS version A50.

I finally decided to try a new BIOS since November and I'm still having this exact same problem. System no longer locks up, but GPU does get stuck at 3.0, exactly like in your screenshots. I have spread spectrum enabled and it doesn't seem to stop it from eventually happening after wake.

I never wake up my PC but the stuck issue is different than before. It's max 3.0 on the left but stuck in 2.0 in charge on the right. The system is then very very slow and I need to reboot.
I had the issue 1 time after 7-8 boot in 3 days.

Yeah newer BIOSes are less stable in that regard, enabling SS doesn't resolve the issue completely. Novemeber-December BIOS is the way to go still

Sorry to say so, but looks like you just unclunky and got a "potato" board. Nothing even similar ever happened on my Carbon Wifi on any of the released bioses, so it must be something fishy with the board itself.

Stop this rubbish. There's a ton of reports and it hasn't been acknowledged, thus there is no grounds for an RMA as it's so sporadic. Everyone RMA'ing would just end up having to pay for the troubleshoot at a store, only to have it sent back. When it can be largely fixed by a setting, then it's clearly not a cut and dry issue. And just because it doesn't happen to "you", doesn't mean it's some made-up issue, several people have tried to say that in this thread as well. Not every issue affects everybody, that's not how issues in general work.

The only recourse you have is to go to a different board manufacturer. This isn't the right spot to get MSI to fix their problems. That could be a problem with the board or something wrong with parts compatibility. With the board. Posting about the same issue over and over again on this form isn't going to fix the issue. The only thing I can tell you is to try a different board only install ram and graphics card and CPU run a fresh installer Windows and then see if the problems exist.if you think that msi is going to fix a problem that you have and most of us don't have them there's not much that any of us can do. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just trying to State the facts.

That makes no sense. This is literally a beta bios thread on the official MSI board, where people are reporting a what-seems-to-be a BIOS issue, because it can be rectified by a BIOS setting for a lot of people. An MSI representative even said they are / will look into the issue. There's constant BIOS updates, so naturally people will constantly update on the issue. There is literally no more fitting thread than this one?! As oppose to the PAGES of people thinking a beta BIOS thread is an overclocking support thread for some reason. And if you don't have the issue, fine, just ignore the posts that talk about it, no need to constantly try to shut everyone down because YOU don't have the issue.

It's also great for people to work together and maybe find commonality in the issue. Maybe it's software, maybe it's hardware incompatibility, maybe it's a specific setting, that's how you get to the root of it but right now it seems to be an MSI issue, seems to be BIOS related, so of course people will post about it in a beta BIOS thread. Feel free to go and look in the Tomahawk BETA bios thread, that's almost exclusively talk about this issue -- Oddly enough!

"You" aren't supposed to do anything, feel free to ignore the people talking about it but stop this idea that it somehow doesn't have its place here just because it doesn't effect you. I also don't have some of the problems other people talk about, doesn't mean I need to invalidate their issues or butt into their conversations just to say WORKS FINE FOR ME, GUESS IT DOESN'T EXIST.

Clearly there's something wrong somewhere, I don't think one should suggest that this issue doesn't exist. Strangely enough, is anyone with an AMD GPU also experiencing this PCIe problem? Because I haven't seen this issue reported by AMD users.

So this this is how you troubleshoot. Unplug everything use 1 stick of ram and GPU and CPU do a BIOS update or be on the latest one. Then do a full cmos reset ( press cmos clear and unplug the power until all light are off the board then take finger off cmos clear borron. Only run bios defaults do not set anything. Do a a fresh install of windows .only install and driver and network drivers and Nvidia drivers.and AMD drivers what happens then this is the tricky part . They're going after part by part and see where the problems are.. for example, I use a razor keyboard and nod32 antivirus. Back a year ago I was having problems with my antivirus conflicting that my razor software. Try that .
