Thanks for the list. Looks very similar to my software suites and driver versions. Still having some trouble playing video in Firefox, and just did a full clean re-install of iCue. Still seems to be some video/sound problems. Generally, when playing any video, an app basically crashes once I do a full restart, after installing iCue.
Thought I had beaten the problem after the clean install but after rebooting, the issue returns.
Strange, I use Edge and have no problem with videos or media form youtube , netflix ,disney over the browser. As for app I use only PowerDVD 365 and no issues to play any format over the player or DVD/BR disk. I also have enabled RTX VRS and RTX HDR all the time.
Hopefuly you resolve the issues , Best!

Thanks! Clean re-install didn't work but it did bring some other issues to light. It LOOKS like it's some combination of iCue, LGS and Razer Synapse loading together and fighting over the USB ports, which causes other USB devices to fail randomly - mainly the Audio drivers, since the RealTek is connected through USB. Killing either Razer or iCue allows things to play fine, and one of them is generating a nasty-looking error in the application event log, like DPC Watchdog violations and "bluescreen" errors tied to "Windows Error Reporting" in the log.

I'm suspecting it's the LGS software that's generating those crashes, as it'll crash whenever it boots or comes out of sleep mode. Reloading it works, but can still cause the issues.

I disabled curve shaper/CO and it does appear to make things more stable. I was using a fairly low CS setting though, -30/-30/-20/-15 that had tested well before 25H2 (after I installed A64, and were my stable settings from A51) but there must be some general issues with 25H2 that is causing some additional issues there, maybe bringing something out with the USB control that wasn't there before.

I did force-update the Razer and iCue software, but sadly LGS hasn't been updated in a couple of years because Logitech has moved to a "low-end consumer hardware and worse software" model. The G600 mouse and G910 keyboard will be my final Logi purchases.

At any rate, I'll probably bite the bullet and try A70 over the weekend and see if there's anything with the USB that gets smoothed out in the BIOS (I remember some USB issues in the earlier BIOSes, man, Patch Notes would be nice...) and hopefully it also gets rid of that weird "TPM Certificate needs to be updated" error in the Event Viewer's system log at every rebooot, as well.

Oh, interesting! I don't use onboard audio but a SoundBlaster AE-5 Pro. Now that you mention it, I remember shuffling USB devices through ports to find the best combination. However, that issue disappeared when I started using the USB hub on the 10G port. Actually, I did that mostly because WING WING controllers prevented the monitor from going to sleep or the screensaver from starting. I had almost forgotten how strange it was dealing with so many peripherals, devices, and onboard USB ports.

Ah, which USB hub did you get? I have an early 10G one but it doesn't have enough ports, and an older 5g one that is... not as up to the task as it used to be. Would like to find a better 10G one that actually supports those speeds, or even a real USB4 hub that isn't a laptop docking station.

I actually BOUGHT a Sound Blaster AE-7 to diagnose other issues on my last motherboard, but decided to just go with onboard sound with my new build. Maybe it's time to turn it off and actually use that poor, neglected PCI_E3 slot...

I bought this one from Vangree:

Powered USB Hub 10Gbps, 17 Ports 96W USB 3.2 Hub(10 USB-A 3.2 Ports+3 QC 24W Fast Charging Ports+2 USB-C 3.2 Ports+SD/TF Card Reader), 12V/8A Power Adapter for Laptop, PC, Computer, HDD,Flash Drive

ON that Hub I have connected:
Winwing Orion 2 HOTAS, Winwing F-16EX Stick, WinWing Skywalkwer rudder-peddals, Razer Tartarus V.2 Keypad, Loupdeck CT Console, XBOX Wireless Adaptor, GARMIN USB cable for Fenix8 permanently. Tobbi 5c is connected on the ALIENWARE 34 QD OLED monitor hub, and the monitor HUB is connected to one of the Onboard USB ports via CHIPSET, Keyboard, and Logitech mouse on the USB port via CPU.
Everything works without ghosting or any other USB anomaly.
I disabled ONBOARD AUDIO in BIOS, and the second 5Gbps LAN I only use the 2.5 Gbps LAN and the Wireless.
I have the G502 Plus and Powerplay Charging mat
Keyboard is: Corsair K100+ Corsair Nexus LCD via the keyboard hub
There is also a CORSAIR H170 i Elite LCD 420 AIO 2x USB (Pump + CommanderXT) connected internally on the board's USB ports

Appreciated!

As an update, the PC is now running pretty smoothly, but I made two changes and haven't isolated which one specifically is the change that did the trick:
1. I removed my curve shaper settings and set that to disabled, running stock on the CPU. I left the memory overclock on (not supremely overclocked but about as far as it can be pushed within standard voltage limits).
2. I moved the peripherial I brought back from my trip from the USB A port 1 (from the diagram in the manual, that doubles as the BIOS flash port), provided by the X870E chipset, to the USB-A 15 Port, also provided by the X870E.
I suspect it's the latter - I just plugged it into the first port that was free when I got back, but realized a few days ago that it was actually plugged into a different port so I switched it back to that.

I'm wondering if this is either a problem with the port (Strange, as they're all going to the same chipset rather than the add-in ASM-4242 chip or CPU), or a deeper problem with the BIOS that isn't handling USB properly with switching the USB control from the USB Flash detection to normal USB again. I had a similar problem with an MSI X570 board that I was never able to use the flash port as a standard USB without problems.

Anyway, presented here in case it helps someone else.

Wouldn't surprise me if there was an issue with that handoff between things like Razer's Synapse (which grabs USB ports very tightly for their devices) and the MSI built-in firmware.

New bios Asus x870E
"1.AGESA updated to ComboAM5 PI 1.2.7.0.
2.Improves compatibility with various CPUs and devices.

Note: This BIOS version cannot be rolled back to previous versions !!!

Asus you can't roback most of the time when they upgrade the new code . That is why I would not buy a Asus board.
There were issues to roll back BIOS on msi side too, with this new bios and microcode ;) My reason for avoiding ASUS for over 20 years is due to their disappointing RMA and warranty policies. They consistently evade honoring warranties and blame customers for all issues. Unfortunately, MSI seems to be following a similar path recently.

I sent my board for warranty and I'm waiting for a response.
Let us know how it went and if they follow the ASUS disaster RMA/WARRANTY path. By the way, my MSI 5090 Liquid SOC experienced a 12VHPWR connector melting issue, which led me to return the card to the retailer. Today, I received an update that the card appears to have survived and is currently undergoing an extensive 12-hour stress test loop. I have also been invited to inspect the card and test system, which I plan to do later today. It seems that the 1200W ThermalTake Tough Power GF 3 protection circuits prevented damage to the card, and the 12VHPWR connector remained intact. However, the cable suffered melting damage on both the GPU and PSU sides. I am not entirely convinced that if the card were damaged beyond working condition, I would have an easy time getting the warranty to replace it without involving lawyers. There was quite a bit of mistrust and hints to avoid honoring the warranty. However, once the card was tested and found to be working, the situation changed. I am disgusted by this, and the only reason I think this is happening is due to direct instructions from MSI to retailers to void warranties at all costs, or the ASUS way to blame the consumer.

I think that only real difference between the two board is that the new one has external clock gen.i my be wrong when I look at the documentation. The bigger chip won't do anything new it is just marketing.

The max series was announced during Computex2025 and still not released, they are teasing and showing but no real release date , maybe now when the new refreshed X3d generation will come to light

Can we roll back from 6x to 5x series bios ?.
Sure i can test myself but dial back my 40 + settings I've changed ( mostly DDR related) is a pain, which is why I’m asking.
I hate the new agesa limitation on boost, it killed my single thread performance.
