Does anyone know error code 43 GPU [device manager drivers Windows 11 25h2(26200.7628)] using bios A7E especially when I'm turn off iGPU RADEON onboard.
Or caused by GPU drivers or bios A7E still bug or SEV-SNP vulnerability (https://thehackernews.com/2026/01/new-stackwarp-hardware-flaw-breaks-amd.html)
I mean error code 43 occurs frequently when I'm turn off iGPU RADEON onboard.
Asus ROG Astral OC RTX 5080 >> driver 591.74
iGPU Radeon >> driver 26.1.1

I have AE-7 and AE5Plus (currently using) iGPU off never had 43 error code on my Carbon WIFI msi RTX 5090 Liquid SOC and for the other stuff have no idea what that is all about anyway.
The Ae-5 Plus is set in PCIe Slot 3

I noticed that MSI has just uploaded a new AMD Chipset Driver today, version 7.12.04.858 (dated 2026-01-27).
Interestingly, this version seems to be newer than what is currently available directly on the AMD support site.
Details:
  • Version: 7.12.04.858
  • Release Date: 2026-01-27
  • File Size: 72.54 MB
  • Motherboard: MPG X870E CARBON WIFI
There is no official changelog provided by MSI yet, but for those of us running the latest Beta BIOS versions, this might include necessary compatibility fixes or power management optimizations for the X870E platform.

I’ve just installed it over the previous 7.11 version and the process was smooth. No issues so far.
Has anyone else tried it yet? If you notice any specific improvements in stability or performance (especially regarding USB4 or PCIe 5.0 behavior)

It’s not unheard of for AMD to release chipset drivers to vendors, who then distribute the same batch under slightly different ID numbers, usually in the last three digits. Later, AMD releases the same driver batch on their download page, and you’ll again notice a slight difference in ID numbers, but it’s essentially the same batch with the same updated components.
I always welcome new chipset drivers since they can fix issues with USB and NVMe and generally improve how the system behaves, except when they end up making things worse, which has happened in the past.

Hi all, can you confirm whether the stable BIOS version 7E49v1A70 and 7E49v1A8 fully support the new Ryzen 7 9850X3D CPU? I assume they do, but I’d like to be sure.

7E49v1A8 it has to be the 1.3.0 code I think. That is why they are releasing it . I don't know if it is a new CPU or just a rebrand of 9800x3d with speed bump.until we can get one we don't know.
Instead of asking, I should’ve just checked the supported CPU list. So, the BIOS from version 7E49v1A7 supports the Ryzen 7 9850X3D.

Hello guys,
For information, with the new BIOS 7E491A8 I lost more than 3k points in 3DMark Firestrike, I will revert to 7E49v1A70
My config:
MSI Carbon x870e
R7 9800x3d
RTX 5080
2x16Gb 7200mhz Cas34

Losing 3K points in a 3DMark test solely due to a BIOS upgrade seems unrealistic. There must be another factor at play.

Hello, when monitoring with GPU-Z, the PCI oscillates between 1.1, 2.0, 4.0, and 5.0.
Which number oscillates? If first, that's very bad, if second, that's how it's supposed to work.

Use full screen test on gpu.z on bottom of screen it should be equal you can also use hwinfo and see what it says . I don't think it is the PCI bug because I think is only happen with 5.0 cards.
