Does anyone know how this motherboard is behaving with the new 9950x3d2?
It will work just fine if you have no issues with your current setup, you won’t have any with the 9950X3D2 either. However, if you’re already dealing with ongoing problems like shifting BUS frequency or the so-called “PCI bug,” you’ll still face the same troubles.

Thanks for the reply!

Random post errors with Agesa 1.3.0.1 observed on Asus boards too, and has been reported to AMD.

Best to skip this Agesa, and wait for the next release

zero issues on my Carbon WIFI

I cannot work using a BIOS running AGESA 1.3.0.0a/1.3.0.1; the issues are simply too numerous—especially if you have 128GB or more of RAM that is not listed in the support list. This BIOS with AGESA 1.3.0.0a/1.3.0.1 is a real troublemaker. I hope they fix it soon.

No issues with my Kingston Renegade Fury 8000 LE, even though it’s only 48 GB. The timings and speed are excellent, and I can even run it at tighter settings, which usually wasn’t the case with other BIOS versions some managed it, but most were unstable on tighter settings.

Hi @Svet, any chance you could also share a beta bios for X870E Tomahawk Wifi with Agesa 1.3.0.1 please?
I've not been able to stabilize my DDR5-8000 profile with 7E59v2AA0/7E59v2AB0, but works absolutely fine with 7E59v2A90

@Svet Hey, any chance we can get you to post a quick SHA256 hash for these betas (like the official releases) so that we know the BIOS file didn't get corrupted during download? Might help reduce some issues if folks can verify them before applying. Thanks!

Oki, added those info.

gigabyte released a new chipset drivers for AM5 , when will MSI release it?
Version 8.05.14.312 is currently an exclusive push through the gigabyte command center app for X3D optimization. It's not even on AMD's or gigabyte's official web pages yet. MSI will likely integrate it into their live update tool or support page in the coming days once AMD officially publishes the standalone installer package. No need to stress about it though

The official bios MEG X870E ACE MAX of ComboAM5Pi 1.3.0.1 has appeared.

- AGESA ComboAm5 1.3.0.1 released.

- Better compatibility with some older graphics cards.

Maybe there will be a new bios for Carbon.

Are there any cases of PCs completely shutting down with this motherboard? The PC shuts down while playing demanding games. It never happens while idle or watching YouTube. I've replaced the PSU, CPU, RAM... SSDs are working fine. So the only remaining possibilities are the motherboard or the GPU.

XT 7900 XTX
Seasonic Titanium 750

Could be thermal protection.

On this board, the default CPU thermal shutdown limit is around 85°C, so I’d first check CPU package temps during demanding games and verify the BIOS thermal shutdown setting.

If CPU temps are not the issue, I’d run HWiNFO/HWMonitor while gaming and check GPU temps, GPU hotspot, VRAM temps, and motherboard/VRM temps if the sensors are exposed.

Try also if you can to reduce powerlimits of the GPU and see if it still happens

Never happened to me: Carbon WiFi, 9850X3D, 48 GB Kingston Renegade Fury 8000 LE, MSI 5090 Liquid SOC, plus three SSDs one Gen 5 and two Gen 4 with an MSI MEG 1300P PSU.
