With >>Forum UEFI Shell Flash Tool<< you can copy the hash of the BIOS file quickly for checking,
by loading the BIOS and click over BIOS-SHA256 on the bottom:

then in this topic do press CTRL+F to paste it to check if will match it.

Aside from this you can check AGESA version,
and / or let the tool prepare the USB key for flashing either by the tool by booting from USB key or by M-Flash.
While doing USB key preparation it will ensure the BIOS integrity on the USB key both checksum and SHA256.

Hi. I'd never owned an MSI motherboard before. I did have an ASRock X470 Taichi and an ASRock X670 Taichi. Both were extremely unstable, and their PCBs were poorly designed. They had screws for the NVMe drives, which broke very easily, and the debugging LED was hidden (unlike the X870E Carbon, where it's visible at the top). I chose MSI because, on several forums, many engineers told me they made the best motherboards—very well-built, stable, and reliable (obviously, everyone has their own opinion). I'm happy. I haven't had such a stable PC since the Taichi X470. I've had it for 10 months now. The problems I had with restarts, black screens, and shutdowns were due to my 7900 XTX. The PCI-E speed on the 7900 XTX was always 4.0 GHz... and with the 9070 XT, it remains at 5.0 GHz. Removing the NVMe SSDs and tinkering with it is so convenient, it's a real pleasure. They should take care of their customers, even when they release new motherboards.

The engineers aren’t wrong, and I give credit where it’s due MSI’s build quality is nearly top of the line. The problem, in my opinion, is QC too many boards are released with twitchy issues. Since MSI has adopted a policy of blaming customers and refusing RMAs whenever possible, they can’t collect boards or investigate problems, leaving them pretty much unaware of the issues. It feels like it’s all about profit, profit, and more profit refuse RMAs, blame the customer. The design and build are solid, as I said before, but support, QC, and RMA are practically nonexistent. And they’re not alone ASUS is even worse, the kings of unfriendly customer behavior and relations.

Upgraded to 1AA1 as well and everything is running perfectly so far. All my usual tuning settings got accepted right away-memory tweaks, voltages, and forced global c-states enabled.
The best part is that my fan curves actually stayed intact after the flash this time! Performance is exactly as expected on the 9800X3D. Big thanks to Svet for sharing it!

Yes, perfectly normal, as you can’t run 4x Gen4x4 plus VGAx16 in this configuration. You can only run VGA x8 since one of the M.2 ports shares lanes with VGA namely M2_2. You can run 3x NVMe while keeping VGA x 16, but you still have to pay close attention to which NVMe ports you populate to avoid lane sharing.
No BIOS update will ever change that as it is hardware limitation of the chipset and board.

BIOS versions a95, a99, and 1AA1 still trigger the 0D error, though it happens less frequently than before. Dealing with the 0D error today has been a real headache. I’m hoping the issue won't appear in AGESA version 1.3.0.1b.

well, that's you then, or maybe your Carbon WIF is a POTATO like many others unfortunately have, NOT a single twitch here works PERFECTLY in fact the best so far
