FYI:
With >>Forum UEFI Shell Flash & Patch Tool<<
you can copy the generated hash of the BIOS file quickly,
by loading the BIOS and click over BIOS-SHA256 on the bottom:

then in this topic you can do press CTRL+F in your web browser,
paste the contents to check if will match it.

Aside from this you can check AGESA version of the BIOS File,
and / or let the tool prepare the USB key for flashing
either by the tool by booting from USB key or by M-Flash.

While doing USB key preparation with the tool,
it will ensure the BIOS File's integrity on the USB key of both Checksum and SHA256.
This also will ensure your USB key used is not damaged or corrupted prior flashing
regardless of the flashing method.

An interesting detail - by this Excel it looks like that Gigabyte and MSI are one of the few vendors who release BIOSes for AGESA 1.3.0.1c. However, ASUS is skipping 1.3.0.1c and is jumping directly on 1.3.0.1d with test BIOS versions.

Hi everyone, I've encountered a problem with BIOS versions 7E49v1AA4 and 7E49v1AA6. They lack the pre-boot DMA protection slider. This causes Faceit anti-cheat to crash and prevents me from playing CS 2. Is there a way to restore this slider?

Yes, try enabing and saving IOMMU then look for the DMA settings. If that doesnt work ensure secure boot set to standard mode. If it’s grayed out, turned off, or stuck on "Setup Mode," just flip it to custom hit enroll factory keys, click yes to confirm, and then switch it right back to standard

Does anyone have an issue with AA3 where your disabled integrated peripheral's don't seem to actually be disabled? I disabled my on-board HD audio, yet Windows still lists a Realtek USB audio device.

I also have it disabled, and no such issues, works as intended. But I did clear CMOS after installing AA3, if you did not, you can try that, maybe CMOS has some corruption.

Hello. I have two M.2 SSDs configured as a RAID 0 array on my MSI MPG X870E CARBON WIFI. I’m planning to update the BIOS and would like to know the correct procedure.
Should I save any RAID-related BIOS settings before updating, or is it enough to re-enable RAID mode and configure the RAID settings again after the BIOS update?
I also plan to perform a Clear CMOS both before and after the BIOS update. Could this affect or delete the existing RAID 0 array, or will the array remain intact as long as I restore the correct RAID settings afterward?
Simply switch SATA Mode back to RAID Mode and check the array in RAIDXpert2.
P.S Don't ask why I need RAID.

The official word is that a simple BIOS update will automatically detect the RAID setup. But keep in mind, RAID 0 is incredibly risky—if just one drive goes down, you lose everything.

Hi Svet sorry to bother you you know maybe because msi doesn't update the page of the mpg X870E carbon on the driver system and chipset side, and also the lan drivers are stopped at 2025 the latter... and doing researching others came out but you can see that msi still has to integrate them to the motherboard can it be?

For the AMD Chipset driver, just get it from AMD. Better than wait forever for MSI...

MSI normally update drivers only in a case of some issue, not because some new one exist.
They just keep the most stable and tested drivers.
If you want to use more updated drivers,
then go get them directly from respective vendors Intel/AMD/Nvidia/Realtek and others.

An interesting note, looking at the BIOS spreadsheet - so far, ASUS and MSI are the only vendors who have released BIOS with AGESA 1.3.0.1d (some have not released one even for c), but MSI is the only one who have published them on the support page of select mobos; all ASUS BIOS files are marked as test for the moment, however they seem to cover their whole X870E and X670E line.
