FYI:
With >>Forum UEFI Shell Flash & Patch Tool<<
you can copy the generated hash of the BIOS file quickly,
by loading the BIOS and click over BIOS-SHA256 on the bottom:
2.jpg
then in this topic you can do press CTRL+F in your web browser,
paste the contents to check if will match it.

Aside from this you can check AGESA version of the BIOS File,
and / or let the tool prepare the USB key for flashing
either by the tool by booting from USB key or by M-Flash.

While doing USB key preparation with the tool,
it will ensure the BIOS File's integrity on the USB key of both Checksum and SHA256.
This also will ensure your USB key used is not damaged or corrupted prior flashing
regardless of the flashing method.

I started facing this issue after updating to AA6 and then to AA7. I don't overclock the CPU, just run the Gskill (32x2) 64gb 4800Mhz RAM I have with EXPO 1 profile at 6000Mhz. It appears like memory training fails at boot and this happens. It happened twice till now and happens when my system has been off for a few days. Can anyone help?

EDIT: Solved by replacing the CMOS battery.

When you fash to the new bios did you clear CMOS also discharge the power supply. Clear cmos and the at the same time unplu the power supply and press the power button untill the motherboard light disappeared. The see if that works.

Nothing worked. Because the problem was dead CMOS battery (strangely died in just 14 months). I replaced it now all good.

The German hardware website PCGH reports that the new MSI BIOS results in up to 15% fewer FPS.

I call BS on that; 15% is unrealistic, and personally I didn’t notice a single FPS drop in any of the games I play. You’re more likely to experience lower FPS due to various Windows updates, especially the latest one that uses Tensor cores for AI and other related system AI features that Microsoft and others are forcing on us and the hardware we’ve already paid for.

Memory Integrity and Virtualization have always been disabled on my PC in the BIOS, and that feature is also off now. Honestly, there’s zero impact on my system whether it’s enabled or disabled. Since MSI or Microsoft haven’t bothered to explain what it actually does, I’ll just keep it disabled.

I've been having a weird issue lately hoping someone can help. My computer will be running fine but when I'm watching youtube or VLC media player i get the windows sound where something disconnected then my computer crashes? It doesn't happen when gaming, I can game for hours no issues, it only happens when watching youtube or VLC? Anyone got any ideas?

What are your PBO settings? One possible explanation is that under light load the CPU tries to boost to a higher frequency than it can sustain and crashes. This will not happen during gaming when more cores are loaded and the peak frequencies are lower. I had similar issues on my old PC, sometimes it crashed even when writing in a chat. But I have never encountered the same problem with my current one.

I’m experiencing the same thing, but only after updating Windows 11 Pro to version 26H2; when I watch YouTube or other streaming channels, I hear a sound in the background—like a USB device disconnecting—and it happens randomly, but my computer doesn't freeze!
