HI, I have a gaming PC (MSI) and a work laptop (a HP Dragonfly), and I would like a gaming monitor where I can alternate between the gaming PC and the laptop, and use the monitor connected keyboard and mouse with either machine. On the specs, this looks possible with the MPG341CQR, but I would like to make sure before I purchase. Can anyone confirm that this is possible?

Thanks.

I'm having hard time to understand what you trying to do, can you please elaborate?
Do you mean you to connect an keyboard and mouse to your monitor directly.
And then this monitor to be connected to both PC and notebook.
And you want with those single sets of KBD & Mouse to control either of the computers PC or notebook,
depends which one is active on the monitor.
Can you confirm that or provide a better clarify?

Yes, that's correct. I want to use the monitor as a KVM......i.e. use the monitor with its connected keyboard and mouse with 2 PC's...one a laptop connected via USB-C, and the other PC connected via either HDMI or Displayport.

Got it, thanks for confirmation.

Think that won't work, because you need to connect a separated USB cable [called USB Upstream Cable].
Which cable enables the USB ports on the monitor,
and this USB Upstream Cable can be connected to one device only at the time.
