MS-16W2 - no power

List of what I tried - New mem, swap mem slots, new ac adapter, removed motherboard, removed battery, disconnected/reconnected cmos batt, pressed pwr button with no pwr for 30 secs, took out wifi card, took out nvme, no visible signs of damage or bad ics
What else? Any other steps? Any msi-specific troubleshooting?
Believe mobo is 16S21-11S
S/N =K2110N0175335
 
No power, no lights, no spinning fans, dead dead dead. AC adapter voltage on the inside of the connector is correct, i.e. not shorted. I have the common tools (i.e. dmm) and knowledge, except of course, this particular board. Voltages on some points on the board are zero. Fuse? Dead power IC? Please instruct me appropriately.

I cannot help you any further. This is not my field. :(
Lets hope somebody with more knowledge about the topic steps in. ;)
 
Try an EC reset (hold power for 60s), BIOS recovery (USB + Ctrl+Home), external display test, check LED/beep codes, and test RAM in each slot; if no luck, likely a motherboard issue. gbwhata.net
