We have a piece of equipment that has the MSI 079269 motherboard in the pc working to equipment.
The pc won't boot but is bleep 2 times failing to load.

Does anyone know what the bleep codes are for this motherboard?

Not sure if its VGA card, memory or something else causing the bleeps.

Images of the motherboard attached

Any help be really appreciated.

Thanks

Hi
Is it short or long beeps?
As for the board, it sounds like it's coming from some system integrator like HP or Dell.

Hi, this is a really old board 25+ years old.
The bleeps is 2 short ones then nothing appears on the screen not sure if this is the monitor issues so cant display the information
or issue with video card but thats going to be impossible to replace.
Never mind was just hope MSI might just have a manual hidden in its archives

Geez, that is museum-grade... ISA slots and everything... and it has an Am386DXL-33 installed, the power-saving CPU model without a heatsink.
2x beep for AMI BIOS should mean parity error / bad memory, so you can try replacing the RAM modules if you have others at hand.
But with such an old system, things like the PSU might have failed as well.

Right, yeah...
AMI BIOS didn't change for many years, so as citay mentioned 2 short beeps likely related to RAM. How accurate is the motherboard's diagnose is another question.
