In SDR, Windows 11 automatically limits the gamut and everything looks great, all colors look similar to my iPhone and Macbook Pro which I know are supposed to be somewhat accurate

In HDR in "User" mode, everything is bland and washed out, desaturated
In HDR in "Premium Color" mode, color is more normal, but reds still look orangey

I feel this is a firmware bug? Do older firmwares behave differently? I can't downgrade to find out.

Can anyone confirm if "Premium Color" mode which in SDR is a "extra colorful" mode, is supposed to be just "normal accurate color" in HDR mode?

This persists even after a full reset, and happens to the PS5 on the HDMI input as well.

I can reproduce a different color-altering firmware bug in SDR, if I switch the input from my Windows 11 PC (set to User color) to my PS5 (set to srgb color) using the gaming intelligence app back and forth with autoswitch input, the user/srgb modes get mixed up somehow and the PS5 gets the over-saturated color of "user" mode even when I switch modes back and forth to sRGB, but a full reset DOES fix this. I also had this bug happen switching inputs in PIP mode without using the gaming intelligence app at all.

The issue may be related to the game itself, as it primarily outputs SDR content instead of native HDR content. Please test with various HDR videos on YouTube to cross-verify the behavior.
