MSI 321URX QD-OLED 2880x2160 custom resolution unable to be done

ive played counter strike for 15 years on the 1440,1080 resolution, 2 year agos i bumped it upto 1920x1440 when i got a 1440p monitor
now since getting this monitor, im unable to run 2880x2160 as a resolution, ive tried CRU (custom resolution utility)
ive turned of DSC with the max frames i could get was 95 without it locking out my frames for some reason
i dont see how i cant run this resolution, can there be a new firmware to unlock this resolution?

hey fauc, thanks to the reply, although this does not answer my question for a CUSTOM resolution

however i found a work around, for my game (CS2) i can set a launch option to force run the game in 2880x2160 with the commands -w 2880 -l 2160, i then in game changed to 240hz and was working with DSC.

i’m quite unsure now why were unable to create custom resolutions when i just managed through in game commands to force run the resolution that i was unable to get working for 3 days through the system.

i’m not sure how cs2 overrides the monitor to force run a resolution it says it’s unable to do, but i think MSI should look into this, and not to patch what i just learnt, but to expand
