So as title suggests I purchased an MSI A1000G about a year or so ago but never got around to using it, decided to use it in my new pc build but have come across a problem with said power supply to gpu, PSU has 4 pcie slots currently, 2 are being used by CPU and 1 by motherboard for excess power to PCIE/panel, looked at MSI suggestions and they suggest using a VR12 to 2 x 6+2 pin and a seperate 8 pin to power the 3 x 8 pin GPU, problem is I never had a 12vr to 2 x 6+2 pcie cable with the psu, i have a 12vr to 16 pin one for NVIDIA cards but since swapping to amd i'm in a bit of a pickle.
is there anywhere I can purchase both a 12vr to x 2 6+2 cable and a seperate 8 pin as i've currently got only 1 unused pcie slot left on this psu and it seems to be the only way I would be able to power the GPU other than a pcie to 3 x 8 pin which seems really unsafe and don't wanna risk such a situation.
thanks in advance!
