First off I want to say I enjoy using MSI Afterburner and its features. I don't use it because while it is installed all audio gets stutters and distortion while it is installed.
I know this is not an MSI laptop and that may be the reason.

Do you mean if you reinstall the MSI Afterburner the audio would normal?
As I know, MSI Afterburner only supports some specific laptops.
I suggest you clean install the relative audio driver (Realtek audio driver, Nahimic, Nahimic driver, and Realtek audio console).
Follow the below FAQ.

No I have left it uninstalled because it effects even the ding from the audio system tray. I have done fresh install of windows multiple times. Fresh install of MSI Afterburner multiple times. Adjusted audio bit rate. Reinstalled, updated audio and graphics drivers various versions.

What laptop are you using?
Could you provide the system information via the MSI help desk?

If you view my original post you would find the information you are looking for.
Add to note many people use MSI Afterburner for its ability to display graphics statistics onscreen, it is beneficial therefore on a variety of hardware.
Also your link to the FAQ goes to a blank page.

I have tried to run the MSI help desk app it is unable to obtain a system information simply because this is not a MSI laptop.
