This topic bothers me as I have used countless hours trying to fix the problem with no luck. My undervolting profile seems to work, but the problem is that I just cant get the fan curve to activate at startup.
I have to manually go in and either apply profile again or disable/enable "enable user defined software automatic fan control". Then the fan curve will apply correctly.
Hardware:

-Delayed startup on Afterburner via Task Scheduler (30 sec) and via MSIAfterburner.cfg
-Uninstalled potential conflicting apps (armoury crate gpu tweak etc)
