MSI Alpha Mic Too Low Issue when using Realtek Driver

Hi there,

I am using the Realtek and Nahimic drivers provided by MSI, but the mic is really too low, even adding a +30 dB boost.. I have tried several things.. Uninstalled Nahimic, disabled audio enhancements, updated Realtek driver, tried different headsets and different audio splitters.

What I figured out is when I uninstall Realtek drivers, the Windows recognizes the audio driver as Microsoft High Definition Audio and the mic works just fine, as it works in other laptops/console. But as soon as I reboot the device, the Windows upgrades the driver to Realtek and the issue starts again.

I added screenshots of the current state of my setup.

Someone has experienced something like that?

Issue fixed!

Steps to fix:

1) Disable auto update of drivers by Windows 10
2) Uninstall Realtek Drivers provided by MSI
3) Reboot

After that, the mic will work just fine and Nahimic as well, but the Realtek Application is not gonna to work, so uninstall it.

Same problem with a GE75 that should have a combo jack too (seeing the specs on the website) but it seems not working correctly.
To solve mic low volume and having both realtek and nahimic working, you can refer to this link
and these drivers
check the last update (the first post in the comments) by MoKiChU

I needed to try many times, but at least it worked. Be sure to be offline during the uninstall or Windows will reinstall the drivers "instantly"

I did the procedure following the PDF tutorial and the drivers from the Nahimic thread discussion and it works. Now the Realtek Audio Console, Nahimic and mic are all great.
