2 months ago my pc screen went black, at first I thought it was my GPU. Then i bought a whole new pc which I could take the GPU of and start gaming. I completely disassembled my old pc and added me the new gpu and it booted straight to the bios. Then i thought ok it was the gpu. As soon as I added my ssd back into my motherboard to boot to windows the exact same black screen popped up. I tried 2 different ssd's and a hard drive all of which had the same issue. Then for sh*ts and giggles I tried my old gpu and it turns out it bloody worked. So then I kept trying different boot up sequences even dowloaded the newest bios and still didnt work. Lastly i tried booting up with just a usb drive which had windows 10 downloader on it. It booted right up to rhe blue windows download screen, but obviously there was no drive to download to. As soon as I added a drive same black screen would pop up. So I think it might be my motherboards SATA controller or whatever the chip that controls storage is, cause I also tried an m.2 ssd.
