Hi,

I just purchase an INNO3D RTX5070 TWIN2X to replace an old 1060 3G.
I replace the graphic card then install lastest graphic driver (32.0.15.7260), while installation, my screen blank, come back to normal display and after 10 seconds screen goes black and my system freeze, i can see on my motherboard CPU LED is ON.
So i upgrade my motherboard to lastest BIOS firmware (7C02v3K2) => same behavior
So i install lastest chipset driver (6.10.22.027) => same behavior
I change my PSU from a 500W to a 750W brand new one => same behavior
I clear my setup with DDU and reinstall NVIDIA driver => same behavior

I force PCIe port to GEN3 (instead of AUTO) => same behavior
I tried to change lanes config from "auto" to "8x+8x" => same behavior

I don't know what to do more
RTX 5070 is compatible with PCIe Gen3 (i checked before purchase the RTX 5070 card)

can someone help me please ? :(

Dawid does tech stuff just had two 5070 that black screen flicker, not system freeze though. you got apu? full spec in sig? PCIE gen?

If it was me, I would DDU & start again, safe mode etc. Failing that reinstall windows (ikr ball ache) if all that fails RMA possibility. Annoys me that I suggest something that would be hard for me to hear, I would hate been without my PC for any length of time, major anx; TBF I have to RMA an elite core 2, it works but has wonky sticks & I have got used it, going back to an XS will feel odd, although I am privileged to have a self repaired spare!

no flickering problem here, the system complete freeze about 10 sec after nvidia driver loaded.
spec are into title:
MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX (MS-7C02) (PCIe Gen 3, no gen4 nor gen5)
INNO3D 5070twin2x
PSU 750W (brand new one because i had a 500W one and tought should be not enough)

already done DDU & start again while safe mode :(

i still have got my old GTX1060, so i could RMA the RTX5070 for another one, maybe for an ASUS one which provide VBIOS update
