Hi, everyone!

I tried to overclock my Ryzen 5 3400G integrated GPU from 1400 to 1500MHz (i think it is not so much) in "GFX clock frequency" and as result my CPU temperature became too high (90 celsius). Without overclocking maximum CPU temperature is about 76-78 celsius. Also, I tried to overclock iGPU from 1400 to 1450MHz with the same results. So I returned to "auto" setting in BIOS to avoid overheating of my CPU. I think it is strange and suppose that I do something wrong.

My configuration:

- Ryzen-5 3400G (with stock cooling);
- MSI B450M PRO-M2 MAX, BIOS A.60;
- x2 RAM G.Skill DDR4-3000 8192MB PC4-24000 Aegis (F4-3000C16S-8GISB) overclocked to 3200;

all BIOS settings set to "auto" or default settings except memory.

Do you have any ideas?

Are you using liquid CPU cooler? Better use that to effectively cool down CPU temperature.

Yes, I can. But I think it is strange that overclocking iGPU up to even 30-50MHz make the chip so hot. I suppose that there is some voltage issue ( I mean voltage of CPU) when I overclock iGPU that leads to higher power consumption. But I don't know "default"  voltage of CPU and wehre I can set it by hands when I overclock iGPU.
P.S.
I did not touch any voltage settings (all in default values), only thing I chnged is iGPU frequency.
