this is a old problem never fixed, if restart windows 11 the pc will not start and yellow led dram is on
if you turn on pc normally it will start with no yellow dram led
msi fix this annoying problem

No one is fixing nothing at this point that is the reality. They are busy with the new lines of mainboards and even with those they are dragging their feet. They don't even read this forum at most you get a mod to send them a quick note and a link, that is the extent of the involvement from what I observed.

I have this issue on my own B650 Tomahawk and 7700X and G.Skill EXPO 6000 CL32 going on more then two and a half years now. There is no upcoming magical bios update.

I suspect at first I was okay, then a few months of running buggy over 1.3V spikes problematic bios (the first ones were bad, I have my PC since late 2022) it took out (degraded it just enough) my integrated memory controller of the CPU. So if I want restarts then I run 4800, if I want EXPO 6000 then no restarts. Most likely I need a new CPU to actually resolve this issue.

the problem is not the cpu, you need a new motherboard, not from msi

I have had memory training issues since I got my 7700x and b650 pro. Over time, it got to the point where putting the system to sleep would fail to wake 1/2 the time, then about year ago it stopped waking from sleep entirely. Now, it will no longer reboot at all, I have to cold boot it every time which is super annoying.

I just got a new Gigabyte Aorus b850m mobo with latest bios and all of the issues are still there - so I believe the issue is related to the CPU. Currently working with AMD to see if they will RMA it since it’s still under warranty.
