MSI B85 G43 GAMMING - 1600 RAM ISSUES

Hello!

I bought MSI B85 G43
And i m having a problem with the RAM

Because the store man said to me, this Board can run the RAM at 1600hz
OK! I saw too in the MSI website...

And yes i can run that Frequency RAM... but exist a problem!

This Board can?t run the really CAS of my RAM!
My RAM is CAS9 and the Board run it at CAS11

So!
When i changed in the Bios the CAS11 to 9...
My PC Freeze all times and Restards!

So my quenstion is!

MSI B85 G43 DONT SUPPORT MEMORY 1600HZ WITH CAS9? ONLY CAS11?

If it supports, what I am doing wrong?

check at SPD page, what values are programmed into the memory sticks

Right now i have only this PRINT about the SPD when i changed the CAS11 to 9...

With CAS9 my PC was so unstable, i changes it manualy the CAS 11 to 9, like this:

oki, think you need to Enable X.M.P to reach those tight fastest timing

for regular use they works as JEDEC #6 timmings as you can see them

Dont work! 

When i played videos on youtube in FULL HD, 30 seconds laters my PC freeze and a moment later shut down.. 

I returned the RAM at CAS11, without XMP

And dont work too, the PC freeze / crashe again!

Yes!

Run the Test11 i got in all RAM?s 4x4 in 42% Error: Failling Address

But its impossible!

How its possible 4 RAM be the same error?

I think its the motherboard...

Something is damaged... Like decapitors or someting like that! 

PS: My PC randomly restarts on idle!

Yes i did that!

One by one!

All of them, with test11 when reached the 42% got so many error called: Failing Address

The errors reached more than 3000000 

I guess this can be a BUG of the program, and not the RAM!

I doubt it's a 'bug of the program'....it's not.

It's either the memory or the motherboard.

Do you have any other memory you can test in the motherboard?

I might consider just RMA'ing both the memory and the motherboard if possible.

I will take the hole PC to the Store,
If the Board its damaged, i can BUY other new using the money i spent with the damaged board Instead RMA?
Because i bought the Board this year, so!
And the RAM too?

I guess maybe its the board, How can four memory's damaged with the same errors? Very strange, no?

i would advice you to turn off XMP

then see if the sticks can works fine without any issues or not

if they are work OK:
you can try flashing your board to the latest BIOS
then to try again XMP
if still don't work you can ask G.Skill support how to run them in XMP

The Bios is updated!
The XMP is OFF!

I turned in ON and my PC freeze!
But turned OFF Freeze again!

This is the steps the PC shut down or freeze:

- Restarts on IDLE ( Happens a lot  )
- Freeze on youtube when played FULL HD ( I stop see videos  )
- Freeze to run a game ( happens one time only)
- Freeze on logging windows ( Happens 2 or 3 times)

And the error for all its the same: KERNEL POWER!  (i hate this error)

looks like they are faulty then, you have to rma them
they should works fine with stock settings

Have you tried using a different power supply, it also sounds like the ram may not getting enough power along will all the other components in your system.  Try swapping the power supply, or removing any unnecessary cards attached to the motherboard and check again...
