MSI Bios update

I installed a new BIOS for my MSI motherboard and after that the PC did not start. I think the new update ruined my motherboard.

I'm having the same problem.
My X470 Gaming Plus max will not start up.
Black Death screen.
Tried the CMOS reset, jumper reset for Bios and removed the battery.
Still nothing.
This was after performing a scan and auto update via MSI's software program.
Any way to fix this or do I need to purchase another MB?
