MSI board recommendation!

Hello, I will assemble a desktop computer. And I will prefer MSI models. I have 2 questions.

1) When I went to the computer store, they suggested "Asus Prime Z790-P" as the board. But I don't want to buy an Asus. Which MSI board is equivalent to the "Asus Prime Z790-P" board?

2) I will do things like graphic design, 3D modeling, 3D Rendering on my desktop computer. Which MSI motherboard can you recommend for this?

My time is a little limited. I hope I can get quick answers. :) Thanks.

The question is pretty unclear, if you want to know its rival, It would be easy to just compare the price, let's say in this case, it is MSI PRO Z790-A WIFI.
However, what's the mainboard for your dream system, do you need anything specific? how many USB port or pcie device you want to use?
I mean if you just need a working desktop, you already know the answer :beerchug:

Actually, I want to build an MSI-dominated desktop. Processes such as graphic design, 3D modeling and rendering will be done on this computer. Sometimes games can be played. For example, HDIM input is required to connect it to the computer. I will use it on a drawing tablet. That's why a suitable board is required. It was very difficult to collect computers. It has a lot of technical details. That's why I was asking for help choosing a board.

The MSI Pro Z790-A WIFI would be the best comparison, and is generally a great product. Gives you about 90% of the features of most boards, for a good price, and doesn't have all the RGB and other features built in that some people don't want.

MSI has MEG, MAG and MPG options. Which product list does "MSI Pro Z790-A WIFI" fall into? MEG?
and what is the GHz speed?

Umm this just got complex
GHz is the CPU, not the Motherboard
So it would depend on what CPU choice you make
For rendering, Artwork and Video work, I would go with Nvidia over AMD
With the GPU you want to go for more Vram due to the usage you listed
Would also steer clear of the i9 CPU range but stick to i7 series with iGPU

64GB of DDR4 DDR5 is not as stable yet nor is there much of a speed boost over good DDR4 Memory

SO primary list
Motherboard
PRO Z790-A WIFI DDR4

Or
MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4
Intel® Core™ i7-13700 Processor

Cooling
MAG CORELIQUID P360

GPU GeForce RTX™ 4060 Ti VENTUS 3X 16G OC
PSU MAG A750GL PCIE5
Storage SPATIUM M480 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2

RAM

Ripjaws V
F4-3200C16D-64GVK
DDR4-3200 CL16-18-18-38 1.35V

64GB (2x32GB)

And a case to jam it all in

SO birincil listesi
Anakart
PRO Z790-A WIFI DDR4

Veya
MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4
Intel® Core™ i7-13700 İşlemci

Soğutma
MAG CORELIQUID P360

GPU GeForce RTX™ 4060 Ti VENTUS 3X 16G OC
PSU MAG A750GL PCIE5
Depolama SPATIUM M480 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2

Veri deposu

Dalgakıran V
F4-3200C16D-64GVK
DDR4-3200 CL16-18-18-38 1,35V

64GB (2x32GB)

Ve hepsini sıkıştıracak bir dava

MSI Ventus series is not recommended. I think it is said to be cheap and other factors are a bit low quality. But Ventus is definitely not recommended. What is the reason?

See here and my following post for some more information about the boards.

MSI has MEG, MAG and MPG options. Which product list does "MSI Pro Z790-A WIFI" fall into? MEG?

The segmentation within the boards of one chipset:
PRO / GAMING: Entry-level
MAG: MSI Arsenal GAMING = mid-range
MPG: MSI Performance GAMING = upper mid-range
MEG: MSI Enthusiast GAMING = high-end

However, as i posted in the thread i linked, for maybe the first time in a while, the MSI PRO Z790-A WIFI is a board that can be recommended, despite it being from the entry-level model range, because they used decent components already. Of course you can always go higher, up to a certain point, but you get less and less meaningful improvements the higher you go, until you arrive at the highest models where you are really milked for your money nowadays. If you want a lot of RAM, it can be better to get the DDR4 version of the board.

MSI Ventus series is not recommended.

Ventus series is for their graphics cards. Ventus is for the cheaper models, Gaming X is for the more expensive models with better coolers and RGB etc.
Ventus cards can be louder and hotter, obviously. But they don't always have to be.

Others have responded, and for the most part, they're all very correct.

The only reason I went with the Z790 Ace personally, was because I COULD afford, didn't mind paying for it, and utilized some of the features it provided over other boards. And because I wasn't going to buy the Godlike.

Having said that, I built a friend a system using the Z790-A WIFI and it was a wonderful board overall, and not nearly as costly as many others (like the Ace). It worked great for him, and works great for pretty much every user that buys it. It's a terrific all around board.

As far as Ventus vs Gaming X......All depends what you want and what you want to pay. The ventus cards are generally fine. I've had a few over the years, and a number of Gaming X cards. Both did their job without any issues. The gaming X cards were more expensive, and generally provided a little bit more performance, but again, depending on what you want to pay and availability, get what you want. For me anymore, I don't really care. They generally perform similarly except in very extreme cases.

Price over Bling, overall performance is about the same Just not as heavy a cooling solution on Ventus and well reviewers tend to mark it down as not good due to no RGB

I have seen very good PC products get bad reviews due to no or limited RGB option
