Hi all, I am having an issue with my laptop of 3 years, this issue has been going on for at least a few weeks. My computer wont run unless plugged in. The battery isn't low and has been stuck at 87% despite being plugged in constantly when in use. Whenever I boot up my computer then unplug it, it immediately turns off as if the battery died - the screen goes black, I am unable to boot it up again until I plug it in. Battery calibration does not go past 87% either, and I don't have the battery master function on this model however I haven't set the power mode to stop charging past a certain amount.

Try to do EC reset, unplug the AC and shutdown the laptop, long press the power button for over 25 seconds, plug in the AC and power it on.
Check if the problem can be resolved after that.
If not, you can export the battery report to check the battery health.
To export a battery report on Windows, open the Command Prompt, type powercfg /batteryreport, and press Enter. The file saves as battery-report.html in your user folder (C:\Users\Your_Username\) and can be opened in any web browser

Thanks for your response! Just tried that, also tried removing the battery and putting it back in, neither worked. Battery report comes back fine.
