Sometimes when I stream also I've this issue, I've encountered a lot of sound issue with this pc so far. I would like to know if, first of all Im not alone, and if there is a solution for that. Thanks.

Yes, you are not alone. Lots of people are encountering the sound-related issues with the latest models.
However, there are different problems and solutions, so you can try all of them to solve it.
First of all, update BIOS to the latest version.
Second, uninstall Norton with the Norton uninstall tool.

i've this and/or crackling sound during gaming sessions. Not all the time, i have this when i'm gaming with my Hyperx cloud alpha (usb version).
for stopping this i don't put with windows hyperx speakers. I put hyperx headset earphone. With this method i haven't more this kind of prob.
NB : before all of this, i've also uninstalled all sounds programs : like realtek drivers, nahimic, intel sound management. I let W11 put his microsoft sounds drivers.

I'm going crazy! I bought a brand new computer and I keep having the same problems, and nobody is helping.

MSI is truly a terrible company!!

I'm experiencing the same problem with my MSI Katana 17 HX B14W, and why do brand new computers constantly have problems? I'm going to lose my mind!

You should try what Raju said under my discussion because for me, it has solved my problem. Hopefully it will be the same for you :)

i've got raider ge77 hx uhs, after new year updates of i dunno what (maybe windows maybe drivers) - i keep getting this stuttering or freezes (like topic starter showed in video) even in browser youtube video playing. I've tried update bios, uninstall and install different versions of nvidia drivers. Uninstalled and installed killer driver (ver from support page for this laptop). Nothing works.

What can i do ?

Ran Windows update?
You can try as follows:
1. Uninstall Norton via the Norton uninstall tool
2. Clean install all of the audio drivers, and install the drivers from the MSI website.
Make sure to follow the tutorial carefully.
3. Reinstall the system directly, and install the drivers from MSI website.
Since you don't know what changes/updates you've made, if the problem remains after basic troubleshooting steps, it is worth trying.

Hello,I’m from Taiwan.I got my vector a18 5080 in 2025/10. Even after reinstalling my laptop and updating the BIOS, the sound freezing issue, similar to the one in your file, still occurs. This only happens when I'm wearing my 3.5mm headphones, making it difficult to record video or audio. Therefore, I'd like to request the file or link to this video. Then I will send it back to MSI for a third time in the coming period of time so they can handle it. If possible, please send it to my email address. Thank you. Email:gordonlee19991029@gmail.com
