Msi Center breaks automatic screen off setting in Windows 11 operating system in versions 1.0.59.0 and 1.0.55.0. It prevents the screen from automatically turning off and going into sleep mode. There is no problem in version 1.0.50.0. There is a problem in versions 1.0.59.0 and 1.0.55.0. If there are those who have the same problem, they can get rid of the problem by returning to version 1.0.50.0 for now. I am waiting for the solution of the problem.

Screen off and sleep. Have to exit out of MSI center to get power saving results.

can you share your hardware configuration and MSI Center log, please?
also, are you using MSI Gaming Gear? Gaming mouse, gaming controller, etc?

The tool is for collecting MSI Center/Dragon Center/Creator Center log file for troubleshoot.

Hello, thanks for the reply. My hardware configuration.
OS: Windows 11 21H2 22000.918
MSI MEG x570 Ace MB
Amd 5900x PC CPU
XPG Spectrix D50 3600Mhz Ram
Zotac Amp Holo rtx 3070 ti GPU
Sandisk Extreme Pro Nvme 3d Ssd
Sandisk ultra nvme 3d Ssd x2
Xpg Core Reactor 850 W PSU

"I dont use any Msi gaming gear. "
Gears
Mouse Logitech G502 hero.
Gamepower Ogre Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
->
To do what you said, I deleted the 1.0.50.0 version with the MSICenterUninstaller tool and reinstalled the 1.0.59.0 version.
I set the automatic screen off setting from windows to 1 minute and repeated the situation.

As I said before, this problem did not exist until version 1.0.50.0. The problem appears after this version.

I am attaching the log file.

"Addition: The problem is still going on. After the process, I went back to version 1.0.50.0 and the problem was fixed again."

Nope, i'm not applying any user scenario custom settings, game mode or smart priority options.
Deleting 1.0.59.0 version fixed the problem. I think the latest version of msi center messes something up with windows power plan. The problem is in versions 1.0.59.0 and 1.0.55.0.

have you tried removing every feature from MSI Center and leaving only MSI Center UI? does this issue stop the system from going into sleep(S3) as well?

I think MSI is aware of this issue, and they are working on a solution.
I will update this topic when a solution is available.
Please be patient, thanks!

I hadn't tried. But after you asked, I just tried it. I removed all modules. Unfortunately the problem persists.

MSI Center release is not as fast as before when we had standalone software for different purpose such as command center, mystic light etc.
how about using batch file to turn off monitor when you're about to go afk? if you're too lazy to press the monitor power button.....

Yes, I just opened a topic to have information about the problem. I reverted to version 1.0.50.0 for now. There is no problem in this version. But if necessary, I can turn it off by pressing the button, thanks anyway :D

Same issue as OP, but with Windows 10. Took me a bit to narrow down what was causing it and found this thread. Disabling it from Startup allows Screen Timeouts and Screen Savers to work again.
