Hi, can you provide log generated by this tool, please?
The tool is for collecting MSI Center/Dragon Center/Creator Center log file for troubleshoot.
https://download.msi.com/uti_exe/nb/MSI-Collect-Log-Tool.zip
if the file's too big to attach to the thread, feel free to upload it to a cloud drive e.g. google drive
Also, @Alan J T , could you help OP download an old known-working version of MSI Center, please?
Yeah, report it to my contact yesterday and they say we can try it again today! Hope they really figure out what is wrong.
Make sure you reboot the PC and MSI Center should apply the fix to itself.
No joy at this time, no update. 2.0.16.0 still broken.hi moderator suggests rebooting the PC and executing MSI Center to check again. seems like MSI SW team is updating something.
2.0.16.0 is "fixed" at least for me.So what’s the deal with MSI center is it finally fixed? And is it available to download yet?
Go in to features tab, then history and setting, make sure SDK is set to update. then it should apply the fix. Reboot and you are good to go hopefully.Hello

I know this is going to sound stupid, turn auto update off. restart, turn it back on, and restart. sometimes programs can just bug like that. seen it happen with lots of programs over 20+ years I've been using PC's.thanks for response
In my case SDK and Features is set to uodate, but when reboot the problem continues
any ideas for fix this problem ??
thanks
My account is the Admin and only account for the PC. I didn't notice an indication that it was updating, just that the SDK initialization took a little longer than normal. Since then MSI centre has worked flawlessly.@keith3_16 Hey man good find! Got a few questions for ya.
Do you run as administrator with a Micro$oft account? If so cool.
With the auto-updater is there any indication the MSi center is updating its SDK?

I know this is probably a stupid question, but is your account the admin account?thanks for response again
this option dont fix my problem
Another idea??
Thanks
maybe who knows? I know I've not encountered it.Not using an administrator account I wonder if that’s the problem for the MSI center.exe abnormal error? Makes me wonder?
