For me I do show the apps to install, but the FROZR AI Cooling is not even showing in the Features. It gets installed, but once you click on it, it takes you to User Scenario. This is happening to me since version 2.0.14.0 and not even official steps from MSI Support could help. I'm going crazy with this issue, I need to be able to control my case fans. Please, help.

What's your system specs? Your motherboard might not support it.

It is compatible. As I said, the problem started with the version 2.0.14.0, before it I could admin everything just smoothly.

I’ve reinstalled everything and still the problem. The only thing left to try is to format de PC, but I’ve seen it doesn’t change anything.

I have a B550 Gaming Edge Wifi with Windows 10.

so ive installed msi center from ms store (2.0.16) as i wanted to turn off RGB on my GPU...and pretty much same behaviour what everybody else posts here
windows 11 does not use local accounts yet msi center needs it for installing features
msi center shows how you can create local account, which you cant do on win 11, atleast not in settings - accounts,, only email sign in possible through here
you need to go to control panel and from there create local account
once you have create it, log to your local account, open msi center, install features, then you can log off and switch back to normal win 11 online account
features installed works fine now

so the question is...why MSI enforces local account when microsoft scrapped those some time ago? and its a microsoft store app..so that doesnt even make sense

btw duiring msi center installation, eventviewer throwed one warning
event 513, capi2
Cryptographic Services failed while processing the OnIdentity() call in the System Writer Object.

Details:
AddLegacyDriverFiles: Unable to back up image of binary NTIOLib_CC_COMM.

System Error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

A lot of people still use local accounts. Just because you don't have to have a local account doesn't mean people don't use them.

I use windows 11. I have created a local account as administrator. I have started MSI Center with said account and installed the utility I need (Mystic Light)
Later I have switched to my usual Microsot account and I have deleted the local account.
These obstacles that lead to loss of time are what make me end up changing the hardware company.

Go in to features tab, then history and setting, make sure SDK is set to update. then it should apply the fix. Reboot and you are good to go hopefully.
Hello, I am kind of new to pc's so I just wanted to know, how would I reboot so I don't lose any data, or does rebooting not delete data?

Thanks

Just turn your PC/Laptop off and back on, Thats all rebooting means. as long as you don't restart while having a program open everything will be saved.

This was my first and last MSI product purchase. I have spent hours trying to troubleshoot the issues created by previous versions of MSI Center. I have spent hours trying to trouble shoot the issues created by this version 2.0.16. I finally got the software to install by creating a local admin account. I can no longer get Mystic Light to work at all. The software team of this company is a disgrace to the tech industry.
