As of version 2.0.52.0 MSI Center; window re-sizing is broken. It worked previously in version 2.0.50.0.
  1. The Bug:
  2. The contents of the window does not re-size only the window frame does.

Solution
The resizing problem is currently a limitation of MSI Center to comply with Microsoft Windows App guideline based on current UI architecture.
The new UI behavior starts from MSI Center v2.0.52.0.
2.0.52.0 Changelog. Release date: 1st April 2025 = April Fool's Day:
"The new version is now available! It includes multiple bug fixes and performance improvements. We recommend updating to enjoy a better user experience."

Try this.
1. Uninstall MSI Centre and MSI Centre SDK
2. Restart
3. Delete all MSI Files under C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\ & %programdata% as well as %appdata%.
4. Run CleanCenterMaster (from here: https://download.msi.com/uti_exe/nb/CleanCenterMaster.zip) - this will restart.
5. Run CMD as Admin => enter sfc /scannow and let this complete.
6. Restart
7. Now install MSI Center via MS Store/MSI Website

Thanks for this!

Unfortunately this did not work. I even tried it with revo-uninstall to remove all traces of MSI Center and SDK.

Update (4.5.2025): This still doesn't work. I appreciate the help though thank you for that. I think MSI will need to address the bug directly in MSI Center.

Solution
It's a temporary solution for now if you want your User-Scenario overlay to work for the time being. apart from that its up to MSI to fix their software (not like MSI centre being buggy ash is something new its always had issues) anyway no one knows when they'll release a new version, just gotta wait.

The only current solution as of this posting is given above: to install the older version 2.0.50.0. The problem is that it will eventually update itself to 2.0.52.0+ despite not being set to automatically do so, meaning that you will need to uninstall the update and put 2.0.50.0 back on over-and-over again. With that said, this bug will ideally need to be addressed.

If you're facing reinstalling issues, make sure in:
- MSI centre->Settings: Always update is set to off.
- Microsoft store->Profile on the top right
->Settings->App updates: make sure this is set to off also.
Microsoft store is kind of bugged and doesn't really auto update apps on its own anyway unless its launched, so having this off will at least stop MSI centre from updating automatically everytime you open the store if you're someone who uses it frequently.
