Hi All,

Having the same problem as others. Brand new install on Windows 11 fresh install.
Tried 2.0.13. Then uninstalled using the uninstallation tool from elsewhere in this forum. Then installed 2.0.12 but that also has the same issue

Mobo is: MSI Z790 Tomahawk
GPU is: MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPRIM X
CPU is i7 13700k
RAM us 32GB of Corsair Dominator Platinum
Windows update has been run. Not sure where to go from here.

I am guessing this may have something to do with it?

This was in the MSI Center log file.
Start with opening command prompt in admin mode then type sfc /scannow
This will check the file integrity of Windows and if there are any corrupted files it will replace them.

Also are you running MSI Centre for the first time as admin?

Same issue here on a Stealth 17 laptop. It was working fine until it auto-updated, and now MSI Center is broken. Same error message: "MSI.CentralServer.exe is abnormal. please restart your computer to launch MSI Center."

I've got the exact same messages in my MSI Center log as m159d02dd

I've reinstalled Windows, and uninstalled/reinstalled MSI Center multiple times with no success. Getting pretty irate at the moment. :angryfire:

We shouldn't have to do that. I mean, revert back to a legacy update last known version to work with the latest updated OS. I don't understand  MSI can build a World Record Breaking MOBO, but can't engineer software to drive it?
I've been having same issue with MSI Center. One added detail, even just now, which is why I am here checking and seeing others having issues, but even just a few moments ago, I turned on my PC opened up an instance of Google Chrome, and no sooner had it opened my PC shut down and rebooted itself, so, ya, 2 boots, and this happens regularly, not Daily, but several times a week, and it happens randomly, could be like today, or it could be, i'm in the middle of an intensive work load, and PC just decides it time to reboot outta the blue.
I guess I must have auto updates on, because I did have 2.0.10 originally, and then I don't remember, 11, but I know someone said vs 12 was out, and the next day, I turned on my pc and MSI center updated itself to 13, which wasn't even posted on MSI's download center. after having a big 'ol convo with another member here trying to trouble shoot the problem by turning MSI center on and off, removing it and letting BIOS run the cooling solutions, etc...
I will end this by saying... I have been having these issues since original purchase and set up of this PC starting with 2.0.10 I believe unless the version that came with the MSI USB Thumb Drive was even older?!

It seems to be working?
Nope, well, maybe it's running, but I haven't clicked on anything to see if I can change anything. The last time I updated to 2.0.13.0 it was done automatically, this time I uncheckmarked the box that says "Automatic Updates", I downloaded and installed the update, but never looked to see if it was working or not.
Today, just about a half an hour ago, my computer just booted itself, and yes, I was working, and lost some work, but I'm used to it now, so I save every key stroke I make now, knowing my MSI Computer is going to mess me up again. This is my First and Last MSI build for sure it will be.
