Hello, I have a big problem with MSI CENTER. I updated to the latest version 2.0.53.0. I set up my MPG D360 water cooling, and everything was fine until then. Then, when I try to download Mystic Light or other elements, nothing works. The download doesn't start, MSI CENTER freezes, and the water cooling display also freezes.I uninstalled MSI Center and the SDK Center with Revo uninstaller and did a complete cleanup. I deleted the MSI folders in the explorer and searched in the registry. I also used the MSICENTERUNINSTALLER. Cleaned the registry with Ccleaner and Iobit SystemCare.I can't get MSI to work properly.Any advice?

Hello all!
The exact same problem with MSI Center 2.0.53.0, the download does not start and the MSI Center freezes on the feature(add's) page. When i restarting the application, i see message about the incorrect functionality of the application and the requirement to restart the PC. Сustomer focus at the "highest level" =(

Unfortunately, MSI Center is a mess of a software. It's almost a guarantee that a problem occurs. I can only suggest trying a clean format as a last resort.

This piece of garbage has never-ending issues I just cant belive that msi emplys such incompetent coders that they cant fix the damn thing and the issues date back from DragonCenter

the bug with the function set not loading or / and Rgb without function is happend ( for me ) with the latest AMD Adrenaline Update.....so since ive been back to AMD 25.2.1 ,everything is fine

I have an old MSI X470 Carbon that MSI Center works perfectly on after updating to latest BIOS.
But on the newer chipsets (X870E) MSI Center conflicts with BIOS settings, especially after Windows updates. I don't blame MSI for this. AMD is making changes very rapidly, as is Microsoft to the core BIOS and operating system. Windows updates can even throw off MSI center settings. It is best to avoid it. The only thing I would use it for is Mystic lighting, but there are other LED freeware programs that work just as well without demanding prompts to install MSI Center "extras" that gum up your system.

Suggest
  1. 1. Use REVO and properly uninstall MSI Center, carefully removing all traces BEFORE you close REVO.
  2. 2. Update to latest BIOS
  3. 3. Update to latest CHIPSET driver
  4. 4. Perform adjustments within the BIOS, not MSI Center

  1. "4.Perform adjustments within the BIOS, not MSI Center," and what adjustment would that be ?????
I have been using MSI Center for a long time, before that, Dragon Center.
The only adjustment available is some form of fan control, but I'm unsure what other adjustments you're referring to.
There are no tuning or overclocking options available within MSI Center.
  2. However, if MSI were to hire capable coders and programmers, I believe they could easily implement AMD Ryzen Master tuning capabilities and other tuning software features. As it stands, this software is of very little use and is notoriously fragile, plagued with SDK bugs and loading issues.

msi center does mild over clocking with the "User scenario" module in the operating system. Not the bios. It appears it is now targeted towards mild o/c on laptops over desktops. The "Gamer" module is one example of that.

I only use it on older desktops that don't have the more advanced BIOS o/c features that newer gen motherboards are all now standard with.

MSI Center is more for those who don't want to learn how to o/c in the bios or learn Ryzen Master.

Hi, I finally solved my problem. I uninstalled AMD Adrenaline with AMD CLEAN UNINSTALL. And MSI CENTER works correctly again. Except for an overlay of 2 tabs.
