Hey, noticed I couldn't install any plugins in MSI Center (Version 2.0.32.0).
When looking at the logs, it says it can't launch the MSI.TerminalServer.exe - but if you see below, it's there.

What I tried so far:
- Run as Admin
- Reinstalled (after removing it via windows function, I ran the CleanCenterMaster application)

Anyone got any idea on how to solve this?

You did this?
1. Uninstall MSI Centre and MSI Centre SDK
2. Restart
3. Delete all MSI Files under C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\ & %programdata% as well as %appdata%.
4. Run CleanCenterMaster (from here: https://download.msi.com/uti_exe/nb/CleanCenterMaster.zip) - this will restart.
5. Run CMD as Admin => enter sfc /scannnow and let this complete.
6. Restart
7. Now install MSI Center via MS Store or MSI website https://download.msi.com/uti_exe/mb/MSI-Center.zip

Hey HELLO am new here and have desktop . .
Device name MSI PRO H610 DP21 13M
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-13100 3.40 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.79 GB usable)
and have purchased a plugin USB cd/dvd player from fleebay that does not "self-install" with upgraded Windows 11 Pro! Am I missing drivers? Will above quoted procedure help? Already tried a third party "driver updater" and had to "rollback" to original driver to fix a non-responsive keyboard disaster!

"MSI PRO H610 DP21 13M" UPDATE (see prior above)
Problem SOLVED! In Device Manager to get "DVD/CD-ROM drives" to appear I went to/expanded "Universal Serial Bus controllers" and, after uninstalling ALL (except "USB Root Hub"), I then rebooted with new USB DVD drive attached which also automatically reinstalls everything anew once again!

TA DA! It's MAGIC works!

I have tried every recommended steps to the letter and it hasn’t fixed it. I’ve opened a ticket and they want DMI info.

It has been working perfectly for two years and out of nowhere stopped. I now have the worst flashy-rainbow colours and I hate them all!! Is there a way I can turn them off without MSI centre and mystic light?

Alright, I did as Keith3_16 suggested:

1. Uninstall MSI Center and MSI Center SDK
2. Restart
6. Restart
7. Now install MSI Center via MS Store

This fixed it for me:

Thanks for the help, hope this sorts it for others with this issue too!

I've had the same problem as many of you, but in my case, the issues persist. I followed your guide to the letter, but it didn't resolve anything. I ended up going back to Dragon Center:
https://www.msi.com/Landing/dragon-center-download/nb

My time with MSI Center has been nothing but a waste—problem after problem with no real solution from anyone. It doesn't matter which version of the app I try; they all fail in the same way. At least with Dragon Center, things actually work.

For example, with the latest version of Mystic Light in MSI Center, updating the GPU driver caused me to completely lose control over my GPU's RGB.

I strongly recommend going back to Dragon Center and forgetting about MSI Center altogether. It's poorly designed software and just not worth the hassle.

Do you have a laptop or computer?

If I were you, with your MSI MEG CORELIQUID S360, I’d configure the screen to your liking and then switch to using Dragon Center. At least with Dragon Center, you can control the RGB lighting without issues.

To do this, you can temporarily remove your current hard drives, plug in a clean one, install a fresh copy of Windows 10 or 11, install MSI Center, configure the display on the MEG CORELIQUID S360 as you want it, and then reconnect your original drives.

After that, don’t touch anything and never update it — because if you do, the problems will start all over again. I’ve been using MSI hardware with MSI Center for over 4 years now, and not once have I had a trouble-free experience. Every version has been a headache.

If it works, don’t update it. Ever. Even if you do a clean install and things seem fine, disable automatic updates right away.

And here's the worst part: even if you avoid updates in MSI Center, once a new version of Mystic Light is available, the app forces you to update it. The “Launch” button gets replaced with “Update Mystic Light,” and you can’t even open it unless you update. It’s absurd — a complete software failure.
In msi dragon center display does not work in water cooling MSI MEG CORELIQUID S360 =((((

This will not work, MSI Center does not work in conjunction with MSI Dragon. The MSI MEG CORELIQUID S360 display uses the MSI Center SDK and can only be configured there. As soon as I uninstall MSI Center the display does not work

I never said to use MSI Center together with Dragon Center — please read my message carefully.

What I suggested is a workaround that avoids having to format your main system just to get MSI Center working:
Temporarily connect an empty hard drive, install a clean copy of Windows, install MSI Center, configure the display on your MEG CORELIQUID S360 the way you like it, and then power down, reconnect your original drives, and boot back into your main Windows installation.

The idea is to lock in your preferred display settings using MSI Center, and then forget about it. You don’t need MSI Center running all the time — at least not just to keep the screen showing something. I seriously doubt the display needs MSI Center actively installed just to stay powered on or show static info.

After that, use Dragon Center only to manage the RGB lighting on your motherboard and other MSI components. Nothing else.

This way, you avoid MSI Center's constant issues, forced Mystic Light updates, and instability — and still get your AIO screen and RGB the way you want them.
