MSI Center crashes when downloading other features

Every time I download a new feature like the AI Noise Cancellation tool through MSI Center, the app loads it, but then immediately crashes and shuts down. I've tried the following steps to resolve the issue:
  • Used the built-in tool to uninstall the feature
  • Removed the MSI Center SDK
  • Completely uninstalled and reinstalled MSI Center
Basically just reinstalling it, and even using older versions. Unfortunately, none of these steps have fixed the problem. The issue persists each time I try to add a new feature. Has anyone else experienced this or found a solution?

I have the same problem
but only with sound tune future and only today !

the other future (if i not install sound tune) work correctly

so I happened to have the same problem today - and it was working fine before. every time I opened the MSI Centre it started loading and then it would just close automatically.
I did several things including full cleaning with that MSI centre clean tool, and none of it worked.
I then installed from the website, instead of Microsoft store, and its now fixed and working.
if its not that, its one of the features specifically. This time I only installed what I use all the time: "System Diagnosis" and "User Scenario" - so far it has been running fine. But I guess if I install one of the other features, it might fail again (crash/close)

As I said, I tested all the additional programs — they all work, except for Sound Tune.
Could you try installing it and let me know, please?
To uninstall it quickly afterwards, just go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\MSI Center\Sound Tune 😉
It'll only take you two minutes 😉

Yup. that's the problem.
Forget what I said about MSI centre source - installing from Microsoft Store is fine.
I have the latest Titan 18 HX AI A2XWJG, and just now I installed all features in MSI Centre except "AI Noise Cancellation Pro", and all works well.

As soon as I install "AI Noise Cancellation Pro" and open the feature, MSI Centre crashes and will never open again.
If I then go and uninstall Sound Tune (in C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\MSI Center\Sound Tune), I can straight away open MSI Centre and just like that all is working again - and the "AI Noise Cancellation Pro" feature automatically shows as uninstalled as in the image above again as well.
So yeah. Whatever they did to that Sound Tune, they messed it up.

I decided to skip downloading the AI Noise Cancellation Pro feature—just like you suggested—and MSI Center worked fine afterward. So it seems like that specific feature is causing the issue. It’s a bit frustrating, especially since I mainly use my built-in microphone and now I’m dealing with noise suppression problems. I guess all I can do for now is wait for MSI to fix it.

I think they've released a new version to fix the issue, the newly updated version is 2.0.0.84.
I've installed the previous version with the same issue, but after clean installing MSI Center and download the latest version, it works!

Hey @joao.sousa.domingo158102d7,
Sorry for bothering you. I do also have MSI Titan 18HX Dragon Edition Norse Myth. My MSI Center isn't even opening. It only stuck here (img1).

I have tried every thing like installing directly from microsoft store or the older versions but nothing helped. I only want to use system diagnosis to cap the batery chargning. As I always use my laptop on charging.

Any fixes? What is the status of your MSI Center? Which version you are using? Which windows or something? Please help me if you can.
Thanks

Hi, I have the same laptop (Titan 18 HX AI A2XWJG). All MSI Center modules are working. Try uninstalling MSI Center using Clean Center Master (https://www.msi.com/faq/faq-4147)

If that is the version you currently have installed, it is well behind. Current version is 2.0.69.0 released 20 April 2026. As advised, used MSI Clean Master to completely eliminate the version you have installed. Then, download MSI Center from the Microsoft App store. I had to reinstall MSI Center this morning (at time of posting). Use Clean Master routinely for any MSI Center updates.
