Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some support. I've installed a brand new 4070Ti Suprim X on my MSI Mag Tomahawk mobo, NVIDIA drivers up to date, Bios up to date, Windows up to date. I've installed MSI Center from the microsoft store as I want to control my RGB through their built in Mystic light. It downloads and just shows "Install failed". I've tried rebooting and reinstalling but it doesn't help. Any ideas on how to solve that?

Thanks a lot!

Hello, I'm a little relieved to see that I'm not the only one with this issue right now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Windows entirely just to try to fix this in the issue is still there. I uninstalled it for another reason and now I can no longer install it again and my RGB light is stuck on red with no way to control it I also removed MSI SDK as well and restarted it and reinstalled and it's the same issue. I hope they are aware of this issue.

This is actually quite frustrating I've done everything possible to try to fix this and I keep getting the "install failed" for MSI mystic light. I am also up-to-date on everything as well. I pretty much reinstalled Windows for nothing.

I also have the same problem hopefully the MSI service will notice and do something. Sorry if I wrote wrong but I'm Italian and I don't know English well.
Anche io ho lo stesso problema speriamo che il servizio MSI se ne accorga e faccia qualcosa. Scusate se ho scritto male ma sono Italiano e non conosco bene la lingua Inglese.

I'm also having the same problem after the MSI center prompt me to update mystic lights, probably to new version installer is broken.
Also sent a ticket about that to their support team.

Same problem. The RGB on my fans stopped working, Mystic Light is recognizing the fans as being controllable, so I thought maybe it was a Mystic Light issue. Uninstalled MSI Center using their tool, reinstalled MSI Center, and now when I try to install Mystic Light I get the Install Failed. I think Mystic Light is just messed up right now.

Same here .-)

Noticed that the MSI Center Windows Store ( UWP ) App is 2.0.10.0 from 2023-03-23 while the standard desktop app installer available for download in the support section of msi.com says 2.0.12.0 from 2023-03-24. So might be MSI is aware of the issue and a Microsoft store app is just waiting for clearance of Microsoft for release.

So this is an issue updating Mystic light? or a fresh installation of mystic light or both?

EDIT:
So I've just updated to the latest MSI Centre and i can see an update for Mystic light, seems to be a bugged update as the update fails to install. if you already have mystic light installed this will not effect you for now.

Hey folks, having same issue. Clean install did not help either on Windows 11 Pro.
Mystic Light from MSI Center with version 3.0.0.50 fails to install. Any other suggestions than deleting MSI Center SDK and reinstalling MSI Center?
