MSI Center Mystic Light Razer Synapse override not working

I use Razer Synapse to sync my RGB; however, mystic light does not always sync with it. When I wake my computer from sleep or turn it on, the RGB on my motherboard is off sometimes; it should be the color I set in Razer Synapse. The settings options in MSI Center are not very clear. I made to sure to disable the 3rd party override option to let Synapse have control. However, when I first turn the switch off, the popup says that disabling this option could effect Razer 3rd party control over LEDs. So should it be enabled or disabled? When it's enabled, I at least notice my motherboards light turn on after being off. My motherboard is the MPG X570 Gaming Pro Carbon WiFi by the way.

You should leave it (3rd party override) as default enabled, the message is to prevent you from turning it off. However, the option might affect other rgb control software that is not sync with MSI Center. For razer synpase, the only option you need to toggle is the razer icon in mystic light page.

Thanks for the clarification, but MSI could have worded the settings better. What do you mean by the option could possibly affect other RGB control software that is not synced with Mystic Light? The toggle says, "Mystic light will override 3rd party RGB Software after system restart." So, turning it off clearly seems like the thing to do. However, the prompt that pops up says that disabling the option could "potentially affect Razer LED software control over MSI product." It is a a paradox that MSI should resolve.

that option basically means MSI will try to reset your LED color to the selected pattern when system starts.
It might affect 3rd party RGB software because this can override the settings.
Razer device is an exception imo so that's why when you try to disable 3rd party control, it asks you not to.
For example, if you're using g.skill LED control software, have 3rd party RGB enable will override g.skill settings hence cause problem, so you should disable it.

Thanks! That clears thing up.

I know this is an old post, but I am very confused by how this is all supposed to work.
The way I understand this, is that Mystic Light that's setup on my MSI board and associated RGB lighting colors, should be pushed to my Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL?
I have everything connected properly (I think), yet the Razer keyboard does NOT change from the 'Wave' profile - I tried removing all profiles in Chroma, but that just results in a lifeless keyboard.
Also tried disabling Chroma Visualizer (it's currently enabled) since that shows 'no compatible apps' when I thought that might help see my chosen MSI colors on my Razer Keyboard.
There are no effect options for Mystic Light, which would seem to be what's missing?
Here's what I'm seeing:

I don't think the latest msi center is working with razer synapse. I have nothing to back that statement up but my own experience. I've usually had no issues. But after the update, it doesn't work.

I'm able to toggle on Razer Sync, and chroma studio do see MSI Mystic light but It can't override the color/effect to sync with my mouse and keyboard after last update. Does anyone has a solution?
Would you mind letting me know the current version of your MSI Center and Razer Synapse? I suggest making sure your MSI Center and Razer Synapse are up to date.

Any update on this? Everything was playing sort of nicely until last update. Basically if I turn on the razer synapse toggler, all case lights except for runners go off, BUT they won't be recognized in Chroma/devices no longer appear in my "map" of devices.

When I turn on the Synapse toggler all of my case lights except for the runners turn off -- this is using Mystic Lights

However, even when I click out of this, my case is still not showing up in Chroma Studio. Yes, Mystic Lights is enabled:

Any ideas? Thanks so much!

I confirm that this has happened since yesterday, Feb 27th 2026.

Same here - mine has been working fine for ages, but in the last 2-3 days the lights were all flickering white and now all lights are turned off when synced with Razer Chroma.

All looks as it normally would, but the device doesn't show up in Chroma editor, even with refresh or restart.

The PC case is set to sync with the computer as well. Really confused as to what is causing this.

- Windows Dynamic Lighting is off for all devices
- Other app controls such as Razer Axon etc all have removed permissions to affect lighting
- All software up to date
