It was working fine last night, but now whenever MSI Center tries to launch I get a window for a privacy policy that won't scroll, or it will scroll a little then crash the whole program.

I didn't change anything on my end so this must have been caused by an update of some sort.

Yeah it was caused by the last update, i have the exact same issue
What pc do you have btw ? I'm surprised that nobody else seems to react to this. ( i have a GE66 12UGS )
Now i have to go in the bios everytime i need to switch my gpu :/

Hi All,

I have the same symptoms. I made multiple attempts to remove/reinstall MSI Center without success, so I have instead installed Dragon Center until the issue is resolved. At least Dragon Center still works.

I'm using a B660 Tomahawk MB

I realised that I had this when I first built my computer and I got past it by scrolling through the privacy policy the second it came on screen.
I tried that again this time and it worked but since the last update the whole app does the same thing. Slows to a crawl within a few seconds then freezes. After a while it will complete the input I made then crash.

I have attached my log for it.

PS I tried reinstalling and it had no effect

Step2. Please remove MSI Center SDK in programs and features in control panel.
Step3. Restart once.
Step4. Delete the folder C\\MSI and C\\Program Files(x86)\ MSI.

It doesn't work

I haven't seen reports for this issue in ages. I tried MSI Center on my laptop and a desktop, and it works fine on both of them.
Quite possibly another software on your machine is breaking MSI Center.

I can confirm this behaviour has made a comeback, I cannot open MSI Center regardless of if it's the Microsoft Store version or downloaded straight from MSI. The Privacy Policy pops up for a few seconds, then the app crashes. I cannot scroll fast enough to accept it.

Yes, this is the exact problem I am having. I don’t even know if it would work if I could scroll fast enough to accept it. What do we do?
