Hello,
I just made a fresh install of my PC and reinstalled MSI Center (1.0.55.0)
I can't run it because of the following error : "MSI.CentralServer.exe is abnormal"

Of course, i tried to run it in administrator mode, to uninstall and reinstall, etc, etc... nothing works.

Can someone help ?

After upgrading 12900k to 13900k i meat this error too...
I tryed everything - not helped.
Also I have MSI CORELIQUID S360 and now RMP always low (2700) - not reacting to temperature cpu even in bios (when 100C - it still silent).
I guess its 2 reason why it can be:
1. msi center error (can control fun cpu and maybe its make changes in my bios cpu fun control?)
2. msi z690 carbon wifi bios update (11.11.2022)

Uninstall all MSI crap you have already installed. Download and install MSI Center v1.0.41.0.

Finally fixed, by reinstalling windows 10, msi center installed from first try and cpu fans start worked

FIX FOUND:

it happens because maybe you disababled All services in system configuration.
enable all services and MSI will work again.screenshot attached..

I have the same problem.
I installed MSI Dragon Center for a better gaming experience and fan control and all was good , on 29 ... when 30 came out I think the software updated itself or something and I couldn't start it anymore .
I looked into this topic and did everything but reinstalling , can't afford to do that now .
Please let me know what I can do to have it back on and running as it should , thank you .
P.S. Problem solved ... I installed Revo Uninstaller and uninstalled the SDK ... apparently after uninstalling the Dragon Center the SDK is left behind and needs a special attention to find and uninstall .
I hope this will help others that have same problem .

Bonjour,

J'ai eu le même problème que vous, je me suis rendu dans les services de Windows et j'ai remarqué que le service "MSI Center Service" était désactivé.
Je l'ai mis en automatique.
J'ai relancé le MSI Center, et sa a fonctionné.

Hello guys. I already found a fix for this issue and is the next one. Please add a local account to your windows and after adding the new account. Unistall all the MSI Center apps you have installed. Later reboot the pc and install the MSI CENTER from the new account you already created. I am attaching the proof that it works!!!

Hello, i have the same problem, i just bought an msi laptop with i7 12700 and rtx 3060, 16 ram and when i tried to install the app it showed me the same thing. I tried to repairt it, to reinstall it, what the last guy said about adding another account and still nothing, if somebody found a different method to make this app work please let me know its annoying to have all the fans running at the maximum power when im playing...

Never mind, i havent seen what cristianiordache wrote, so i tried removing the sdk with Revo unistaller and it worked! now i finally can use this msi center app...

you can change the power mode when pressing FN+F1-12 key you can find it in the manual from the laptop and if you want to change fan speed you can press FN+up arrow

This worked for me: Using task manager I stopped all services running that had 'MSI' in them and relaunched Dragon Centre as admin. It finished the install and has worked since. Latest Windows 11 on a Stealth GS75 laptop.
