Hi all,

So I'm having some issues when installing MSI Centre from a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro, MSI Centre installs fine, but when I add Mystic Light and then open the app I get no found hardware, even though I have an MSI B550M Pro MB and an MSI Gaming X 12G RTX3060. Mystic Light has a weird graphical hitch as seen in the attached grabs, MSI Centre and Mystic Light worked fine yesterday on my system before the fresh reinstall of Windows 11 owing to a nvme drive upgrade.

Weirdly it looks like MSI Centre is seeing my RTX3060 as an RTX2080 Phantom of Lightning?

Any thoughts on where I might be going wrong?

Thanks

Press the scan button so it can find hardware and stuff
and also go to Live Update and click on Advanced this will check for V-bios and Firmware updates if found install V-bios and Firmware

Hi and thanks for your reply,

Unfortunately when I click scan it does nothing except crash the app, which then when I relaunch MSI Center Mystic Light just opens with a blank page? also I have run both advanced and normal scan and the app finds no updates other than Norton Security.

Under the system info tab of MSI Center the correct hardware is listed so it must be able to see the hardware, just Mystic Light shows the incorrect hardware, the motherboard detection seems to be corrupted as it appears to show 2 models overlapped.

I have used the MSI Center uninstall tool and tried 1.0.38.0, 1.0.45.0 and then 1.0.50.0 again, but get the same results every time.

Any further ideas most welcome

Cheers

can you try to locate JT1 on the motherboard and short the rightmost two pins with a metal object? this will reset the MCU
Short JT1 pin (2 pin from the right) with a pen for 5 seconds when PC is turned off

what rgb devices are you also connecting? such as RGB headset, memory, mousepad, etc?
