MSI-Claw is very fast with CachyOS.

The MSI-Claw now works with CachyOS with the two options below.
ChimeraOS should get a driver update later and that will work too. Bazzite installer doesn't work half the time, idk why (but in theory its suppose to work).

With CachyOS though, use one of these methods. CachyOS should get higher FPS.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider runs faster on CachyOS vs Win11 too.

does it will be released as official image with all necessary scripts included? if i go on downlaod page, i cannot see msi claw.
dows battery work well? like windows 11?

At some point both ChimeraOS and CachyOS should just work out of the box.
For now though the script I made works and is very simple to just install on CachyOS

All my handhelds have better battery under Linux. I didn't specifically test this though on the Claw.
Windows update would kill 50-70% of my devices battery sometimes without even playing a game. Linux updates in a couple seconds to a minute with almost zero battery drain.
From this alone I would assume better battery life plus way less bloat on Linux killing battery life. But again, that would have to be tested which I didn't do.

You can always restore Win11 on your device if it doesn't work out for you. Just remember to disable Secure-Boot before installing Linux
 
With your recommendation, I will install CachyOS after work today.

I look forward to the battery and performance.

Is the controller bug fixed in the git you wrote down and the controller is all working?

The OEM buttons too.

The cachyos battery time you recommended is long and the frame comes out well.

I don't think this is an OS issue,
Dragons dogma 2 game I'm playing doesn't work.

I don't know if it's a driver issue or compatibility issue
When I tested the light games, it went well

Did you try different Proton versions?
 
Argh
Chimera os runs but all buttons abxy are not recognized or in a strange mode. If i install your file nothing change.

Cachy os installation returns many errors at the beginning..... Why (strange errors, like pacman error)? I have flashed iso with fedora program, now i am using balena etcher. I hope works.
I have disabled fastboot and secure boot, but chimera os finish installation, cachy os no....
 
Ok i installed cachy os, i think the problem was a docking with hdmi 😄.
I installed install.sh in desktop mode, i restarted the os, but now when i lunch a game on steam handled mode, i see only a mouse arrow that i can control with stick. How can i enable buttons and gamepad mode?
