MSI Clutch GM70 & MysticLight

I just purchased the MSI Clutch GM70 which when first plugged in was displaying nice rainbow LEDs, however after installing MSI MysticLight and trying out different colour profile's it has become stuck on static red LEDs regardless of how many times I press apply and save with the light setting set at Rainbow. I have also tried a bunch of other lighting effects but all reap no reward, it still stays on red.

If you ahve other MSI components you might have set it to sync with the other devices. Make sure that yiou are controlling it on it's own.

I'm also having the exact same issue but I don't know what steps to take. My mouse was plugged in and automatically turned red. I looked at the file attached on instructions for mystic light but no matter what I do it won't change.
