MSI Core Frozr XL RGB not lighting up

hello
i bough a cpu cooler yesterday.
msi core frozr xl
I connected the LED wire to the USB2 and the LED turned on. Then I saw a RGB HEADER on my motherboard and I thought I could connect the wire to it. then I plugged the wire into it and LED did not light up again. Then I wanted to connect the wire to usb2 again, but the lights did not light up any more.

The LEDs will never turn on again as you killed it... The Core Frozer XL has an USB header cable that you connected to a completely different  12v, 4-pin, 5050 LED header. 

When a manual lists:

LED Module:
/ Connect the USB cable of cooler to any JUSB (USB 2.0) pin header on the motherboard.
The JUSB pin header consists of 5 pins on top and 4 pins at bottom,
please connect the USB cable to 4 pin header /
*Please refer to manual for detail location of JUSB (USB2.0) connectors.

it is a bad idea to connect it to any other header...
