thanks.

What antivirus software did you install?
Try to add MSI creator center to the whitelist in the antivirus software.

Have you tried to install the offline package (.69)
If the problem persists, I suggest you report the issue to MSI.

MSI Dragon Center often gets stuck, showing a message that it’s being blocked by Firewall, antivirus, or any other applications. Minor adjustments to your computer can fix this silly problem. Fixing MSI Dragon Center blocked by Firewall is very easy. All you need to do is go to C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\One Dragon Center and run the MSI.CentralServer.exe file as an administrator. After that, open MSI Dragon Center and will not show that error again.

Hi, we have the same problems with MSI CENTER...i tried to start MSI.CentralServer.exe as indicated by @budiciptamega but the lock persists!
Do you have other methods to unlock the program? The system has just been installed and updated, I have no antivirus and I have already tried to insert the Program among the exceptions of the firewall but I always have the same error popup! Please help me. Thanks in advance

Try to reinstall MSI center first.
uninstall MSI center and SDK, then reinstall it from ms store.

I got the same problem Msi center says its being blocked by a firewall, funny thing, it was working just fine literally yesterday and today when I boot it up its like we being blocked by a firewall or some [***CENSORED***]

Hello from the past, to anyone who's facing this problem, this is what I did :

It took me many hours to fix it, when it was simple. My initial problem was that I tried to install MSI Center before installing Creator Center.
I :
- realize that the "DiagnosticTool" does not erase MSI Center SDK (yet it should)
- reinstall MSI Center to have the ability to uninstall MSI Center SDK
- uninstall MSI Center SDK (from Settings > Apps > Apps & features), then MSI Center (and Creator Center if you still have it)
- run DiagnosticTool to uninstall everything (we never know)
- install Creator Center

It worked for me! If not for you, you can try the other solutions below:
- run the app as administrator
- reinstall/uninstall the app
- disable antivirus, disable folders containing the programs
- disable MSI stuff in firewall
- use the MSI "DiagnosticTool" to erase everything and reinstall
- update all drivers
- start/modify the Windows service "MSI Center Service"
- download from Microsoft Store, from MSI site
- try other MSI apps (Dragon Center, etc., often not compatible)

Good luck!

Hi. I have AVAST ONE antivirus. At some point my MSI Center Pro was not starting. I tried reinstall but it didn't help for long. The thing is to not allow avast to optimize MSI Center Pro on startup list. In my case It help and MSI Center Pro services started to work again.
