Hi,
I received the monitor last week, my main problem is that I cannot turn HDR on automatically. I have to switch it on manually from Windows.
Does auto HDR even work with this monitor?

My configuration:
Windows 10 Pro with the latest drivers.
MSI Creator PS321URV connected via DP.
AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with the latest drivers as of today.
32GB RAM.

In addition, any owners thread for this monitor? I would appreciate any tips for maximazing my usage of it.

What about the backlight dimming? looks like it is always-on on my monitor. Even if I put a black screen, the entire screen is grey, not really black. Any way to change it?
I tried changing the UI of the monitor to "Local Dimming" = On and also Off, it's the same.

did you do the
  • Open Settings then go to System->Display.
  • Click the Windows HD Color Settings link.
  • Scroll down and make sure that the Use HDR toggle is On.
  • Keep scrolling and you will find the Auto HDR toggle and toggle it on.

You can use madVR to auto enable HDR for movie contents that support such.
This will auto enable HDR and auto disable it on closing.
