Noted I'll give it a try. I havent had much luck with drivers lately.
Quick Update on the sound. Its working but the latency is all over the place. I'll wait for the next drivers and see what happens.

Very weird, i don’t have these experience with my notebook. I have to check with the program you have used though.

Oh i would not worry about it too much. Its barely noticeable. The audio isnt the best from down facing speakers anyway but its weird how the severity of the latency fluctuates so wildly. If your curious try LATENCYMON

Will do when the rams arrive and use my test nvme drive for ram testing 😅

for MSI laptops with Realtek LAN hardware, the "top" one should be used (less drain on the laptop battery)
the "bottom" one without "power saving" support is best suited for MSI desktop motherboards and/or AIO desktop PCs

=====

in case you folks weren't aware of this (saw this in a few other forums recently):

Realtek Audio - 6.0.9605.1 {MB/board} - MSI LiveUpdate

Thanks for the tip mate.

People write that it back to version:
537.58
Which latest version is best?

That one, with updates after that my machine gets bsod after closing ace combat 7. Other people report the same issues with other games as well. Nvidia really make their community mad because with the latest driver they have not fixed 1 single issue.

and with the Realtek audio MSI 6.0.9611.1 driver recently mentioned, the older 6.0.9593.1 driver is still available from here for a limited time (it may get removed later this December; someone else posted that one)

and awww drat - why didn't I find this one sooner from the MSI web site - 6.0.9597.1 (older version; released for 13th gen Intel Katana/12th gen Intel Sword series laptops; even listed for Crosshair 15 C12V & 17 C12V series laptops). perhaps released a day after when 6.0.9601.1 MSI MB/board driver was released.
MSI unexpectedly released 9597 in mid-November - should also work for other recent MSI series notebook pcs
