Hey this might be a dumb question but, after installing these driver updates, do I have to keep these files? If it's okay to remove them I wouldn't mind saving 267MB :D
You can remove them because they are installed. Also check if the Intel® Smart Sound Technology is installed (latest) and nahimic (a-volute) drivers is installed (latest). Realtek installer will delete those as well after installation and microsoft update always installs a much older one.

And Windows keeps a copy of every driver you install in a place called the Driver Store. It is located in “C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository”afaik. So in case drivers can be found there....Testing tens / hundreds of Nvidia drivers I finally had at least 30Gb there and then learned to use Take Ownership to be able to remove the superfluous stuff. And Nvidia tended to have its own copy of installed drivers, too!

I have a .bat file that removes stuff like that 😂. My drivers folder was also over 35gb 😂

a much safer (and perhaps faster) alternative to taking ownership of those folders is to use the DriverStore Explorer [RAPR] app and delete/remove old driver versions using that app

my Driverstore "FileRepository" folders on my PCs have never reached those 30Gb+ range (they're below the 3Gb-4Gb mark) coz of using Driverstore explorer to get rid of old drivers

Or use the .bat files. Run them as administrator and your done. Why need another application to do the same job ?

Agreed. I've been testing hundreds of Nvidia drivers during last 19 years - that's why those heaps of them...

It started to download but now it keeps failing to initiate. Strange.
My GT73 has similar problem with Killer Lan. It says that an update is available but, it downloads
and doesn't finish installing. I just don't bother with it now as the notebook is from 2017. Lan still
works as it should so, just not installing it.
Don;t know about your problem as your notebook is more recent and it should be installing all
recent and available updates. Are you seeing it in the MS updates History?

Windows 11 but, haven't installed the January updates yet.
Your notebook is a old one, my old notebook does not have any issues with the latest nvidia drivers either. Most people that do have issues are the ones with rtx cards and running windows 11.

What do you mean , my notebook is Old?

I was answering to @Grieverokami about his Lan install or lack of.
My other notebook(s) (I have three on my desk) which is the GT73VR 7RE Titan
has the same problem but, since it's a few years older, I don't really bother with
problematic updates I just hide them. It still works just fine.

I think I can use that too.
I also have Realtek with Nahimic on the new Legion.
Currently there is a version: 6.0.9593.1
Or is this driver modified directly for MSI ?
MSI only, however it seems there is a asus file in it too which is weird. I would almost think msi uses the asus files to keep up with the realtek drivers 😂.

Do you know a program called BleachBit? It is a Cleaner, community driven and Freeware. With the winapp2.ini loaded it is a great helper.

Use with care!

Going through my most recent update history i cant find any update for LAN. What exactly should i be looking for?

You don't have the Killer Lan. Instead you have the Realtek Gb
Gb LAN
802.11 ax Wi-Fi 6 + Bluetooth v5.2

I have the killer Lan on mine which is Intel

Double click on the Realtek and see if a new driver is available from the web.

As for the Intel Arc , which browser are you using.
If you have another browser, try it with the other.
Sometimes, it takes a few tries to make it stick.
