I would also recommend the program wushowhide to disable auto update on the intel graphics. If you use the intel auto updater (or intel website) to update the Intel ARC driver windows update always kicks in and downgrades the driver to a much older one. Blocking driver updates DOES NOT prevent the intel GPU driver from downgrading! you really need wushowhide for this.

Be aware of the Intel® Bluetooth 23.30.0 and 23.40.0. When you install the latest driver it will mess with your audio driver. My realtek audio driver got deleted, nahimic, my fresh newly installed Intel® Wireless LAN got deleted and it wanted to download older drivers via windows update after reboot. This bluetooth driver is triggering some intel audio driver and changes the audio order in registery. Be aware, if your bluetooth driver is working fine, don't touch this if you don't want the trouble i had.

Thanks for the heads up. I downloaded the Bluetooth driver but avoided installing it after reading about your issue. An hour later, an update was flagged via Intel Driver Driver & Support Assistant. I wrongly assumed it was a display driver, but it was the dreaded Bluetooth driver that was installed. So far, everything is working okay. My Realtek audio drivers, nahimic, and the new Intel Wireless LAN drivers are all intact. There are no new Windows updates either.

Actually, I have just noticed. You only had these problems after you rebooted. Ah well. I'll reboot now and see if I have the same issues. If I don't return in a few minutes to report, then assume everything is okay.

Nope, after reboot it wanted to install the old drivers (because the installed ones got deleted). The issue started after installation was finished. The bluetooth driver is triggering the "Intel® Smart Sound Technology Detection Verification" for whatever reason.

Prehaps i should try the Intel Driver Driver & Support Assistant in the future to see what happens OR i download my drivers from Microsoft Update Catalog, the package is much smaller because you can find your own device id over there .

Thanks for letting me know @Chris Butterfield. For now i have reported it at the intel forums, maybe i am the only one who is affected :cautious:.

@Grieverokami, can you make a screenshot of this part ?

I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner. My system has fortunately been okay since using the Intel Driver Driver & Support Assistant. I hope you got to the bottom of what was causing your issue.

My system is fine too, the only issue was using the bluetooth installer which removed alot of drivers. They are back already and no problems so far. 😎

Hello,
what are these drivers for?

Q: Why are some names marked bold ?
A: Because this is how i like to show what got updated compared to my previous posts.

Q: Why does this post have Realtek Audio, Nahimic and it's components separately posted compared to this post ?
A: Because the package MSI posted has everything included, MSI does not update often so i switch to Microsoft Update Catalog and get the updates separately.

Q: There are 2 drivers uploaded on google drive, are the drivers legit ?
A: Yes they are, i know someone who get his hands on msi drivers faster then MSI shares on their own website. Because MSI is very late in updating (if they even update :censored:) and Microsoft Update Catalog does not have them i made a choice to upload them on the google drive.

Hello,
Thank you for clarifying my question.
I think it's good to list what's new in the overview.
I have to compare it every time 😀🙈

Realtek Audio
Realtek Audio Effects Component
Realtek Audio Universal Service

No issue here, how did you update ? Did you unrar the .cab files ? Please tell me how you updated in steps.

Thank you for the response. I unzipped the cab. files and install them as usual via Device Manager (right-click on the computer name).
However, it was my mistake. Everything was up to date and matched your images. I had only checked MSI Centre, and that doesn't highlight the latest version. Strange, as it generally does. Even the version on the program list in the Control Panel highlights the old version, which is wrong - 6.0.9648.1

I think that perhaps it is because it has not been installed via the regular executable. I dunno.

MSI Center....there we go. I never use it because it lists outdated drivers for my unit (the LAUNCH drivers posted on the website). It does show what drivers i have installed but it wants to downgrade them LOL. Also the app it self has so many issues at times, resource hungry, fan control sometimes does not even work and so on. I just use FN + UP key to get cooler boost on during gaming, that is everything i need.

I completely agree. I have literally just updated my original response to you above, with the possible reason why it's done this.
I suspect msi center checks for the installed apps only on the audio driver, 6.0.9648.1 was probably installed with the installer on your side and 6.0.9652.1 with .inf file. Maybe you could uninstall it and see what happens on the msi center ?

I also have a .bat file that removes all older drivers from the c:/ drive. Create a .txt document and add this. Save it as .bat (or use winrar to change the file extension from .txt to .bat)

Code:
@echo off
for /L %%N in (1,1,600) do (
echo Deleting driver OEM%%N.INF
pnputil /d OEM%%N.INF
)

Thank you. I uninstalled the old driver it and installed the latest driver via the .cab files you uploaded, and it's reading correctly in the MSI Centre. Thanks also for the batch file. I use a batch file to regularly clean out my event viewer, so the driver cleaner is a good companion to it.

I actually prefer these .cab files. I dread updating the Realtek Audio Driver via the regular installer. Whenever I update it, I have to reinstall everything in the order below; otherwise, something breaks. It's such a pain when there are multiple Realtek updates in a short space of time.

Intel Smart Sound Technology Driver
Realtek Audio Driver
MSI Nahimic Restore Tool
Realtek OED Driver
Intel MVA Driver

For my unit when i use the regular installer it breaks (removes) nahimic completely. Why i still do not know but i since short when a installer from realtek gets released i manually install the drivers (like the .cab files). It’s possible 😬
