For my unit when i use the regular installer it breaks (removes) nahimic completely. Why i still do not know but i since short when a installer from realtek gets released i manually install the drivers (like the .cab files). It’s possible 😬
Just when I thought my system was all fine again. My sound drivers were playing up a day later. Everything had been uninstalled. I had question marks in my Device Manager.
I quickly looked at Windows update, and without warning, it had downloaded and installed some different Realtek drivers. It took me another 30 minutes to fix everything again.
Anyway, enough was enough. I went into the group policy and completely disabled Windows ability to update any drivers ever again.
I have used every operating system since Windows 95, and I don't recall Windows updates ever being as bad as they are in Windows 11.

I blocked driver updates in everyway, yet it still downloads drivers even when i disabled them. I disabled them on 4 ways and yet Microsoft still desides if you get them or not LOL! Sometimes i do miss my linux system. I still keep an eye on Pop OS! 24.04

I hope the group policy method isn't now borked. That has 100% worked for me in the past. I've been tempted by Linux many times. It is definitely on my radar.
Microsoft has incorporated ads in the start menu of the current insider build of Windows 11. It is obvious they are testing the waters before rolling this out to everyone. If Microsoft goes down this road, I am gone forever.

P.S. Oops. Sorry about the empty reply above.

I used linux for 2 years before i bought this laptop last year. I used to run Pop! OS 22.04-23.04-23.10. Loved it! my games run butter smooth on my older acer predator machine, some games ran better on linux then it ever did on windows.

Thanks for this info and link. The kettle is on, and I am ready to watch this....

I would also recommend the program wushowhide to disable auto update on the intel graphics. If you use the intel auto updater (or intel website) to update the Intel ARC driver windows update always kicks in and downgrades the driver to a much older one. Blocking driver updates DOES NOT prevent the intel GPU driver from downgrading! you really need wushowhide for this.

Q: Why are some names marked bold ?
A: Because this is how i like to show what got updated compared to my previous posts.

Q: Why does this post have Realtek Audio, Nahimic and it's components separately posted compared to this post ?
A: Because the package MSI posted has everything included, MSI does not update often so i switch to Microsoft Update Catalog and get the updates separately.

Q: There are 2 drivers uploaded on google drive, are the drivers legit ?
A: Yes they are, i know someone who get his hands on msi drivers faster then MSI shares on their own website. Because MSI is very late in updating (if they even update :censored:) and Microsoft Update Catalog does not have them i made a choice to upload them on the google drive.

Does anyone here know why the Intel Dynamic Tuning Driver won't install? After spending hours uninstalling/installing drivers, MSI Centre no longer recognises this driver installed on the system. This is the very first time this has happened, and I have no idea what is causing it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Install the one from the msi site and try the new ones after that.

Did it not get uninstalled during the intel bluetooth driver installment?

Thanks for the quick response. I'd not touched the Bluetooth drivers. However, I just uninstalled them, along with all audio drivers, and installed everything in the correct order, including the Dynamic Tuning Drivers from the MSI website. The results are the same. It shows installed in the Control Panel but not the MSI Centre. It has always shown as installed there, which makes me think there is an issue somewhere. Do I uninstall every driver on my system and install everything in order? I dunno.

Thanks again for the effort you go to @MichelN86
Hope everything is going well for your family!
Tomorrow I am getting an MSI Bravo 17 C7VFKP (AMD 7940HS + NVIDIA RTX 4060), wish there was a thread like yours for that model.
