Next time i wait for the Microsoft Update Catalog, Intel won't fix this anyway as they didn't seem to care much in the earlier topic i have posted.

I would also recommend the program wushowhide to disable auto update on the intel graphics. If you use the intel auto updater (or intel website) to update the Intel ARC driver windows update always kicks in and downgrades the driver to a much older one. Blocking driver updates DOES NOT prevent the intel GPU driver from downgrading! you really need wushowhide for this.

Realtek audio delay fix
* Block Windows 11 driver updates

Q: Why are some names marked bold ?
A: Because this is how i like to show what got updated compared to my previous posts.

Q: Why does this post have Realtek Audio, Nahimic and it's components separately posted compared to this post ?
A: Because the package MSI posted has everything included, MSI does not update often so i switch to Microsoft Update Catalog and get the updates separately.

Q: There are 2 drivers uploaded on google drive, are the drivers legit ?
A: Yes they are, i know someone who get his hands on msi drivers faster then MSI shares on their own website. Because MSI is very late in updating (if they even update ) and Microsoft Update Catalog does not have them i made a choice to upload them on the google drive.

I remember you having this issue a short time ago. I have not been here for a while, so I updated multiple drivers in one go. I was about to download the Bluetooth driver, and then I noticed it popped up on Intel Driver & Support Assistant, so I installed it from there and rebooted. So far, so good. I hope you get to the bottom of it. That would drive me crazy.

Just change the resolution in game and then return.
After that everything worked fine.
Hmmm will try that on my game later. The game i play is not heavy demanding at all (Team Six - Armored Troops) a Cannon Fodder clone from the 90’s.

Well well, another user reported in my thread he had the same issue on 2 of his machines.

1 user tested it on 4 laptops. All machines deleted important drivers during install. Affected machines

1. MSI Crosshair 15 B12UGSZ (12th gen)
2. Dell Latitude 5421 (11th gen)
3. Dell XPS 13 9310 (11th gen)
4. Dell XPS 13 9315 (12th gen)
5. LG Gram 17 (12th gen)

Now, that is odd. I wonder why this issue is not being addressed. It must be affecting an awful lot of users.

Maybe those users did not noticed it, after reboot microsoft update installs a much older driver on the background.

Realtek LAN - 1124.018 , 1125.018 , 1126.018, 1166.018 , 1168.018 (2024/05/29)
Intel® Graphics - 1.0.101.5534 (4th update in 3 weeks of time)
Intel® iCLS Client - 1.71.99.0

Today i noticed a driver update through Windows Update, for some reason a new driver got added on this machine (Intel(R) iCLS Client).

Schermafbeelding 2024-05-29 165340.png Schermafbeelding 2024-05-29 171229.png

Looking up and found this on the net:
The iCLS client software is a part of the Intel® MEI driver software installer package. The iCLS Client is designed to optimize your device's performance by managing the activation of Intel's features efficiently, without a noticeable impact on system resources.

For some reason i never got this driver, also not with the msi drivers from the site. It's not included, just checked again.

My motherboard does not support UAD drivers. I'm using the latest HDA. Is this only for UAD?

what kind of MSI motherboard are you using, aiocrl151902d1?
run either msinfo32.exe from the Run dialog box or the Speccy tool to gather info about your mobo.
also the latest HDA non-UAD driver that I have on most old PCs that I have (whether coming from MSI or another OEM) is 6.0.9273.1 from MS Update, even though MSI themselves have a generic 6.0.9239.1 HDA driver package available (but listed for certain industrial grade motherboards on a separate MSI IPC web site)

edit, btw note to MichelN86: the older Realtek Audio Universal Service 1.0.747.0 driver version is available on the MS Catalog site (I think MS released it there on 5/29)
