MS store still offers the Nahimic UWP app 1.10.1 version. the 1.10.2 release might have been an "exclusive" release to certain manufacturers
Not really, got it from steelseries šŸ˜Ž.

I would recommend the program wushowhide to disable auto update on the intel graphics driver and i highly recommend O&O ShutUp10++ to disable all the spyware/telemetry Microsoft added in Windows 10/11.

Can’t wait for Pop! OS 24.04 final release. So far it looks very promising šŸ˜‡. When this gets released i will ditch windows for good.

Pop OS is my favorite Linux os, used 20.04, 20.10 and 22.04 on my older Acer Predator G9 notebook. Since i own my MSI unit i did not change os because i wanted to give windows 11 a try….but everytime i keep thinking, should i switch back ? The games i play are running great, if not better on linux.

Choices….

I 2nd that wow.
Thanks for the Intel updates. Tuning Updater?
I'm gettin' my money's worth (it was free) out of Rapr.exe/Driver Store Cleaner. God I just love tiny programs like this.
My over-heating 10th & 12th Gen laptops don't feel alone anymore & since I knocked off Windows turbo mode they no longer overheat.
I was just reading about over-voltage/over-heating 13th & 14th Gen processors. Poor desktop owners (I love it when they disparage laptop owners) of 13th & 14th Gen processors are experiencing crash & burn big time. Top of the line 13th/14th Gen processors, same issues.
Mobile/laptop processors to a lesser extent, maybe? https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/intel-instability-extends-to-laptops/
Glad I didn't splurge & buy a 13th/14th Gen laptop.
Me, I'll have to stay with Windows 11 a while longer but I will bypass 23H2 completely & install 24H2 as a fresh install.

IntelĀ® Graphics - 32.0.101.5971

ronvess3157d02dc:
There is an update in the article that it only affects a small number.
It's a hardware vs software problem.
It's an inflated bubble šŸ˜€
I have 13 th i7 (Lenovo LEGION) and I play every day for several hours without a single problem.

Most issues people have are during those shĆÆtty updates Microsoft is releasing lately. If you read this site you know what i am talking about. Every month they release a update and break things. It’s ridiculous and very amature.

which is why I use some tools like stopupdates10 & windows update blocker (and also using "metered" internet connections) to stop some of these unnecessary auto updates from Microsoft.

I can confirm to intel that the updated .cab file from microsoft (posted here) for my bluetooth device does not remove any of my installed drivers. Your installer sucks.

I was getting a little worried 😟, Wifi update was lonely, thanks.
Wifi 7. I clicked on your link for Intel Wifi .cab files. Good for you finding a work around.
My 17" laptop currently has a AX201NGW Wifi card. Looks like I'll be getting an Intel Killer Series Wifi 7 card, BE200NGW/BE1750x, pn: xxxxxx8a810. It's only $10 more than the lesser version, pn: xxxxxx8a610. Found it for $40.
Might not put it though until I install 24H2 on a different SSD drive. I'd like to make up an ISO with all the lastest drivers for this laptop on it. It's been awhile. Boy, driver updates are coming fast lately, thanks.
Fun facts on Wifi 7.
Wi-Fi 6 and 6E, under optimal conditions, can achieve speeds of up to 9.6 Gbps, only a third of Wi-Fi 7's capability.
Wi-Fi 7 under optimal conditions rockets past 5 with a maximum speed of 46 Gbps—a more than 750% increase. The claims are that Wifi 7 will surpass Ethernet even if one uses a CAT 8 type cable, top speed of 40 Gbps.

Problems…problems…problems

KB5041585 I was reading about that, damn it I just installed it 2 days ago, (well only on the one that has 22H2). I read something about an IPv6 Registry patch or disabling it ? Not sure ? Will have to go back tomorrow & find out more. My problems with Windows Update was last month, July. I had to run System Restore on both my laptops. Intel display driver, not even a week? I just put in 5971 on the 19th. So I was reading up on 24H2 today Bit Locker Encryption is enabled by default unless you disable it with something like Rufus. Me, disabled don't & won't ever use it, :bonk:. But who knows I might wanna protect my games, no. Same thing with MS AI, disabled. Reported, Bit Locker Encryption slows down your frame rates big time. Other news, Intel says it's Wifi 7 only works with 24H2, that's ok with me I plan on installing it anyway. Chrome/Google browser users will be looking for new ways to block ads. Their going to stop letting ad blocker extensions from being used, good luck with that. I only use for the Google Wallet part. I try to use as little as possible with Google/MS online accounts. MS, I don't have one. 24H2 at the end of next month is the word. Have a great night!
